“What happened in here? Do you have some gloves?”

“Here,” Beomgyu replied and gave some to Yeonjun who just arrived. “As you can see, he’s back,” he stated.

Yeonjun flinched while looking at a man’s body getting stabbed multiple times and then the Spades mark that’s been awhile since he saw it.

“Get inside the car, let’s talk,” Yeonjun said and started walking followed by Beomgyu. “Do you know something about this?” Yeonjun asked as he locked the doors of his car.

“No hyung, I already cut off ties with him since you know the truth and I don’t really know about what he’s thinking. You see, he’s already out of his mind,” Beomgyu replied.

Yeonjun nods. “I just can’t turn a blind eye to this now that I know he’s the culprit, goddamn it,” Yeonjun cursed and looked away.

“Why hyung? D-do you perhaps care for him?”

Yeonjun had a second in pause because of what Beomgyu asked. He then fakes a chuckle. “Of course not, I just don’t want him to get caught yet because you know,” he paused and looked at the younger. “I’ll kill him myself.”

Beomgyu just pursed his lips and nods innocently to the older as if he really belives him. He just looks away after and sights the other officers taking care of the dead body.

Now that Spades is back, the people become even more aggressive. The media continues to spread various theories and SNS are spreading fake news about the matter.

“How the fuck this happened!? Who the hell— God! Damn, we’re on fucking fire,” Captain Kim shoute in their meeting. “Anyway, I will assign you Yeonjun and Beomgyu— damn it Hueningkai isn’t here anymore—“

“I decline,” Yeonjun cut him off.

“Me too, Captain,” Beomgyu added.

“What!? No!” the captain rejected.

Yeonjun stood up and glared at the Captain’s eyes. “I already told you before that he will attack again. I already warned you that if we cover up who really Spades is there will be a greater effect but you didn’t listen. So now, face your own consequences Captain. I’m off,” he stated and went out of the room.

“Hey! Choi Yeonjun you punk!” Captain Kim shouted.

“I’m sorry Captain, we can’t handle this matter now,” Beomgyu apologized.

“Hey Beomgyu, talk to Yeonjun will you? You two are close now, right? Yeonjun and you have the leads about Spades before, it’ll work again, right?” Captain Kim persuaded.

“Detective Choi is planning to resign and if he did, I will follow him,” Beomgyu said instead and take a little bow. “I’m sorry, Captain.”

“W-what? I can’t lose you both! Choi Beomgyu, why are you two doing this to me?” Captain asked in concernd and even held Beomyu’s arm.

Beomgyu smiled at him. “Don’t worry about Spades, Captain. We will take care of it. Choi Yeonjun will definetly get him and if he does no matter what happen, give him the reward that he deserves. Trust him. Let’s trust him.”

Choi Beomgyu and Yeonjun are in Beomgyu’s living room while drinking some hard liquor. “What are you planning now?” Beomgyu asked.

“I’ll try negotiating to Soobin. He might still change his mind,” Yeonjun replied.

“After he went this far? I don’t think it’s possible,” Beomgyu replied.

“Do you think so?”
