The Statement

“NIS checked Hueningkai’s phone and the last location was here at the station and they found out that the messaged was timed in.”

“Timed in?”

“Some kind of a schedule thing. It means it has been scheduled when to send,” Beomgyu explained.

“How about the CCTV?” I asked again.

He shook his head. “None, someone might already set it up before Huening could get here yesterday,” he replied.

“Damn it,” I cursed and look at Hueningkai who’s sitting on the floor and leaning his back against the wall. “His witness?” I asked.

Beomgyu shook again his head. “None yet but so far it’s just the handkerchief and nothing else. The handkerchief was actually at Kai's drawer here in his desk. So maybe, when the outsider touch the phone he then took the it.  Ah by the way, I just realized something,” he said.

“What?”

“Ahjumma’s fingernails are kind of in a bad state so it means she fought with the killer. If it was Huening, I checked him and there’s none,” he answered.

“I know it’s not him but who the fuck framed him?” I wondered.

Beomgyu sighs and leans against his desk. “Beats me,” he commented.

“How about the car?”

“It was stolen and they lost track on him then the team just found the car at the junk shop and it was completely crushed,” he answered.

“Talk about incompetency,” I scoff.

“Spades just know what he’s doing. That asshole.”

“And aside from that, he’s now freaking confident. He breached the authority already and that means he thinks he can totally shut us down,” I stated.

“You’re— what the fuck is he doing in here?” Beomgyu suddenly went annoyed and I looked at where he’s glaring.

It’s Atty. Kang with his assistant.

“Hello, I’m Attorney Yang Jungwon of Kang Law firm and I’m here as Hueningkai’s lawyering with the witness, Kang Taehyun,” Atty. Yang stated as soon as he stop in front of us.

“T-Taehyun, what are you doing here?” we heard Hueningkai.

This two… when did they have such closeness?

“Then let’s start the interrogation,” Beomgyu coldly replied and Taehyun together with Jungwon went with him while I followed them.

“Please state your relationship to Hueningkai,” Beomgyu asked.

“A friend.”

That’s already sus.

“How long since you’ve become friends?”

“Three months ago? More or less.”

Beomgyu nods and types his answer. “Into the incident, where were you last yesterday night between 10 to 11 in the evening?”

“I was with Hueningkai at Inshin neighborhood,” he answered.

“What were you doing in there?”

“To meet someone.”

“Who is that someone?”

“That person is not relevant to the case. I’m here as Hueningkai’s witness and to support his alibi,” Taehyun stated.
