Chapter 45: How To Break A Wall

In the corridor, the girl walked in confidence, wearing that cute short pink dress to grab a certain boy's attention. She didn't know why he wanted to go out despite everything that happened to him but she was happy with the thought of it.

What happened at his meeting with his little sister? She doesn't know but this time she'll win his heart for sure. No more Jasmine in her way and there definitely won't be anyone else but her.

Reaching the corridor where his room is, she could hear weird noises coming from his room. Stuff collided with each other. Is there someone fighting in there? She knocked on the door and asked worriedly.

Lucy: Peter, are you okay in there?

There was suddenly silence. No response... And she heard the window crash and broke into the room with the extra pass the guy gave her in case anything happened. He had a good point, something was really happening but her intrusion was useless... She couldn't do anything. She just froze and stared at him. Men with muscles, dressed in black wrapped him with ropes. It seemed like he resisted but failed to break through them at last.

He saw Lucy standing at the door and tried to scream despite the cloth in his mouth. He shook his head so hard to release his mouth and talk to her.

Peter: Lucy!!! Get out of here. I got this, alright.

He winked, trying to tell her it was part of his plan. She nodded and responded.

Lucy: Just return safely. I'll be waiting for you.

And then one of the two men capturing him smirked and commented.

....: What a hot chic? Can't I stay and have some fun, hunter?

Peter: If you touch her, I swear to God this will be your last breath.

The other guy with him palmed his face and replied seriously.

Hunter: No! The leader will be mad if something goes wrong. And don't you dare call me by name at work, you idiot.

And they jumped out of the window carrying him in their hands and disappeared. Lucy ran to the window to find them already at the ground level. She frowned and her eyes teared as she whispered.

Lucy: I just wanted... One day... With him... Is it so much to ask for?

She knew he'll be fine. He told her they'll come for him and that he needs to meet with his father and settle things. He promised to return safe and she held on to his words but still... It made her sad.

Shoving the darkness away, Peter finally got rid of the drug's effect on him and could see the light. He looked up at the door. It opened and a certain blonde man walked in. The man looked at the tied-up guy with his cold olive-green eyes and ordered firmly.

Matthew: Leave us alone and don't dare interrupt us.

His servants jumped out of the room and closed the door out of fear. It was only both blonde guys in the room. Peter could see a strong, strict, tough man standing in front of him. He guessed it won't be so easy and that he might be beaten once or twice there. He's going to have a harsh time. Little did he know what the next couple of minutes had in store for him. The father didn't know how to start this long delayed conversation. Were they even father and son or just strangers formally named like that? Matthew gave him his back and talked in a commanding voice.

Matthew: I only have one last chance to make this right, young man and I won't let it slip away from my hands this time. If you won't talk while I am friendly, you'll talk aching in wounds.
