He was standing next to the door so he was the first person to be seen by them. He shyly waved and looked down at his guitar again nervously. They both waved at him and entered while he just stood there lost in space and time. His heart was bouncing in fear. He didn't know why he felt like that.

"Why am I so nervous? And a better question is what is she doing here?"

He looked at the group who gathered around the couch with the corner of his eyes without anyone noticing. He did find her talking to everyone and guessed it right.

"She must be friends with Juleka and the others as they were at her party and since she plays on the piano, they must have invited her to come. And I thought that inviting Adrien wouldn't be the best idea."

He again looked at them to find them laughing together and she was laughing with them. He stared at her laugh and sighed dreamingly as a smile was reaching his face. Suddenly, she directed her eyes towards him which made him quickly turn back to the notes paper in front of him and pretend as if he wasn't looking at her. His heart was beating so fast pushing the blood to his cheeks while he tried to get it off his mind and concentrate on what he had in hand though those were just tries.

"It's time you make up your mind, Luka. You can't keep living in this maze. You have to figure out what you want. You have to choose your target. Your reason. It's either Marinette or Melody. Marinette is a nice girl. She's kind and friendly and she's always ready to help others. She's clumsily cute sometimes too. She's perfect. But Melody is a whole new story. She's all that and more. The way she broke into that burning house to save her friends, that's a rare kind of selflessness. She's not perfect and that just makes her perfect. Her name, her voice, her eyes, and the way she feels. She has gone through hard times in her life, just like me and she's trying to seem strong and positive all the time, just like me. The way we run into each other like that all the time. Near the river that day when I first saw her and then in the burning house when I saved her and she saved me and then yesterday when I coincidently was delivering her the groceries. As much as I'd try to escape her, we keep bumping into each other. She gives me that new feeling inside whenever she's around. I've never felt like that before, not even with Marinette. And the fact that Marinette already had someone in mind while Melody needs someone... To fix her."

The memory of yesterday and how he sang her that part of the song. It seemed like a promise to him. Everything at that moment led him to her. It all added up and somehow, he felt it was destiny that caused them to meet. And after a while of overthinking, he decided to just go with the flow and see how will things end up. He was tired and that seemed like the best thing to do in the meantime. He looked at them again to see Melody looking at some papers in her hands. They seemed like the lyrics of the song but that reaction on her face meant that something was wrong. He heard her say.

Melody: These lyrics are so awesome, Rose but something is just missing. Try to sing this part once again.

Rose: 🎶You can count on me like 1,2,3. I'll be there and I know when I need it, I can count on you like 4,3,2 and you'll be there. Cause that's what friends are supposed to do, oh yeah.🎶

She looked at Rose and replied.

Melody: I think that a male voice would go better with this part of the song.

He knew where she was going with that and his heart had beaten in fear. She will ask him to sing it and it was what he expected that happened. She called for him in a high voice.

Melody: Hey Luka, why don't you sing this part? You have got a great singing voice.

Everyone cornered her and stared at the girl in amusement at what their ears caught. A storm of questions then started pouring on her.
