Chapter 4: Big Trouble

The girl was lying asleep in her bed. It was so cozy and she felt like she slept a lot. A LOT!!! she quickly got up and looked at her phone to find out that it's 7:30.

Melody: 7:30.!!!! SCHOOL STARTS IN LITERALLY 30 MINUTES!!! OMG. I SWEAR THIS COZY BED WILL BE THE END OF ME.

She quickly got up and started running into the house. She took a quick shower and brushed her teeth then got into her clothes. she then moved to the mirror and collected her hair up into her regular high ponytail. She quickly grabbed her purse, her backpack and an apple from the fridge then rushed her way to school to reach on time. She stayed up all night putting planes to help them avoid Akumas and trying to set the Adrienette together. Along with her homework, she was so tired when she got to bed. No wonder she overslept after a night like that. She quickly took the bus to school and barely reached on time.

"well, it's better than yesterday."

She walked upstairs to reach class and a wide smile crossed her face as she saw the front seat empty.

"seems like the chameleon is out of town again aaaand... Adrien and Marinette are sitting in the back seat, TOGETHER. Well, Marinette is late again, as usual, but I never spoke to Adrien that much since I got here. Actually, I might have an idea..."

She walked up to him and greeted him with joy written all over her face.

Melody: Good morning, Adrien.

Adrien: Good morning, Melody.

Melody: I never got the chance to talk to you so it's nice having you as a friend and thanks for swapping seats with me yesterday.

Adrien: You're welcome. It's always nice to help a friend in need.

She smiled at him and replied.

Melody: I suppose you can return to your old seat, I feel much better now.

Adrien: Are you sure? I really don't mind sitting here.

Melody: No, it's okay. Really. And I don't think that Lila will be back anytime soon so you can share your seat with Marinette. She'll be happy with that.

Adrien: That's a good idea Melody. Thank you.

He waved at her and caught his bag and walked down then sat in the front seat waiting for Marinette to share his seat with her. About Melody, she was so happy that she could help Marinette a little bit with her situation. The first step in setting the Adrienette sail is making Marinette less awkward in front of Adrien and that would need some work. Sharing the same seat with him might be a good first move. Now about her. She turned front and waved at her classmates who were sitting in front of her.

Melody: Good morning there.

She waved to gather their attention. The girls turned back to face her and greeted her back.

Rose: Good morning, Melody.

Juleka: Morning.

Melody: So what are your names?

She tried to act as if she still doesn't know them though she did. Rose then answered with her cheerful voice.

Rose: Sorry, I totally forgot that you're new here. I am Rose and this is Juleka.

Melody: Well, it's nice meeting you both, Rose and Juleka.

Melody then noticed a bunch of papers in front of Rose and asked out of curiosity.

Melody: I am not meaning to be nosy or anything but what are all these for? We are not having a test today or something, right?

Rose: Oh no, don't worry. These are just the lyrics we are writing for this new song. I am just having a rough time with this part.
