Ritti: Melody, we are out of cookies.
The kwami shouted but Melody was too busy to answer that. The kwami again shouted.
Ritti: Melody, I need cookies.
Melody finally heard her and replied quickly holding the physics book in her hand.
Melody: I am so sorry, Ritti but I am busy right now. I have got a physics test on Monday and I still don't get any of this. The girls want me to go with them to that election event tomorrow. I will barely get any time to study.
The girl screamed in nervousness.
Melody: Velocity equals distance on time. So the car will move a distance of 90 km, we will have to change that into meters...
Ritti: Ugh... I am hungry.
The kwami sighed and flew through the wall to the second floor and rested on Melody's bed then sighed again before she could notice the opened laptop and the credit card that was on the desk. An evil idea then crossed her mind.
Afterward somewhere else, the boy was wearing his helmet, getting ready to deliver that last order before his shift will be over. He looked at the location written in the paper and smiled. He learned the directions to that place by heart. And for some reason, seeing her always made him happy. She felt the same too but just didn't want to admit it.
Talking about her, she was trying to memorize the formula of acceleration. In other words, tough physics, when suddenly, the doorbell rang and that brought all the means of curiosity to her face. Who would visit her anyway? She wasn't expecting any visitors but especially the guy at her door. She walked to the door and opened it, only for her eyes to meet those deep blue seas of his and she goes sinking.
"WAIT WHAT?!!!"
She was finally able to differentiate between dreams and reality. He was standing there. Holding a bag in his hand. He smiled and said.
Luka: Good evening, Melody. I brought you the cookies you ordered.
Her face wasn't sure about what color to get painted with at that moment. She whispered under her breath.
Melody: Cookies?
She quickly tried to contain the situation before it goes out of hand after knowing whose idea was that. She smiled and invited him in.
Melody: Thank you. Please come in.
Luka: Are you sure that you don't mind? I don't want to bother you.
Melody: What are you talking about? Of course not. I like your company.
Well, that went way too honest than how she expected. Did she really say that out loud? Her face was painted red as she hid behind the door, opening it for him to come in. He settled himself on the couch and looked at the table in front of him to find mountains of books and papers thrown here and there. From what he noticed, it seemed like physics to him. He caught a book and opened it while Melody was closing the door. The girl whispered under her breath.
Melody: That little kwami. She's dead.
She turned to see him holding a book in his hands and was reading it in concentration. She then looked at her table and apologized.
Melody: Sorry if it's messed up a little. I am having this physics test on Monday and I don't get a thing about all this. I am going to fail.
Luka: You're being so hard on physics. It's not as complicated as you're assuming. Acceleration and velocity, right?
