Chapter 2: Where I Belong

The girl suddenly found herself somewhere different. It felt weird to her. The streets, the lighting, even the cars. She was still crying with her red tired eyes when she pulled her bag behind her rolling it to the ground and held the large piano on her back. She was roaming the city she has just reached, still unaware of where that portal took her. Her tears haven't stopped and she was broken, walking alone passing by each light column as every single way happiness was taken from her. It was midnight and so dark that she could barely see where she's walking despite her eyes pain. No one was walking in the streets which sounded scary for a girl her age to walk alone at this time of night. Step after step, her tears were getting worse each second.

"Why did it have to end up like this? Why did he choose to leave with her? Why were I his second choice? What did she do to him? How does she affect him that much and..."

She looked around and questioned her existence.

Melody: How did I end up here?

She suddenly felt something getting wrapped around her waist. Her heart raced the wind as she jumped in fear expecting the worse. She turned around to find literally no one. She then looked at herself to find a purse attached to her waist. She sighed in relief but still had a doubt about the purse.

"Weird, where did this come from?"

She curiously opened the purse to find some stuff in there. Her candles and the lighter were there along with some money and a key. As she kept searching into it, she found a paper with a location written on it.

" I think I should be going there. Maybe someone there will help me or I can at least find somewhere to sleep for tonight."

Everything was coming so fast that she couldn't keep up with it. Just an hour ago she got some magical candles, her brother betrayed her and now she's somewhere far away from home with no one to, at least, ask for directions. It seemed so jumbled to her but she was a fighter. She'll find her way alone, right? She started following the road signs in a hopeless try to reach that location. She kept walking until her foot began to ache so bad and finally. She decided to rest on one of the benches her eyes caught were nearby. She looked ahead to finally see that something that told her exactly where she was.

"The Eiffel Tower?!!! Then I must be in Paris. That's where the wish took me. I must find aunt Emma. She must be living here somewhere."

A light of hope was starting to shine in her eyes. She quickly stood up and pulled her bag behind in excitement. Finally, she's going to meet her aunt in person for the first time. There won't be just video calls and mails between them anymore.

" Wait a minute... Paris?"

She paused when she realized that she shouldn't be here. Her mother has forbidden them from returning here for a reason. She started slowing down and decided to go with the flow. She didn't have any other choice. She was already there and it was a wish that brought her here. If things turned out so bad, she'll use another wish.

She continued walking and observing the streets carefully for any sign that could lead the way. As she walked, she noticed a poster on an ad board.

"Is that... A Ladybug poster? Weird... She sounds so real in this picture. But then, of course, Miraculous Tales of Ladybug and Chat noir will be famous in Paris. It's where they were made."

As she walked in the streets of Paris, she passed by a place that gave her some doubts.

" Is this the same bakery and school from the show or am I just dreaming? I remember hearing that the places in the show were made upon real places but I never thought it was real. This is awesome. I have got to buy some pastries from here some other time when it's opened."
