In the crowd he waited in impatience. His imagination is a boat that sways him in the sea of his mind. He wondered:
"Do I look good? Is this night going to be fine? What does Melody look like in a dress? Is this night going to be fine? Will an Akuma attack and ruin everything as usual? What do I say when I see her? What if something happens and her powers go out of control? Is this night really going to be fine?"
Since Melody told him they will part at some point, he started wishing every moment they spend together would be perfect. And this night is one of those moments he needs to be happy whenever he remembers it. In case he does remember it, that is.
The music was so loud that it hurt his ears but he can handle it. He stood at the buffet only because it faces the door. He wanted to be the first person she sees when she enters. He looked around. Adrien was standing next to Nino at the side of the hall, both wearing black suits and waiting for their beauties too. Chloe Bourgeois was already on the dance floor with Felix. Who would have guessed? She was wearing a silver dress with very light shades of white. He couldn't unnotice it. Felix also wore a grey suit that matched her dress perfectly. They were the most perfect couple in the hall. It wasn't a statement for discussion.
Juleka wasn't there too so he figured out the girls will be coming together, which also explains why Marinette and Alya are not here yet. He wished Samuel could come but the guy said only when his snow white comes back that he will ever come to a winter dance. It was a pledge he made to her and to himself.
The front door of the hall opened and not only one or two but six girls walked in, all eye-catching and undeniably beautiful as flowers in spring gardens.
Mayelene decided to stick to a dark colour that shows the curves of her body so it was the darkest shade of blue and grey she wore. Her hair wasn't styled in her regular curls but instead she straightened it that only slight waves can be noticed in it. A simple mouse shaped hairpiece made her custom perfect and she only added lipstick to look amazing. No more makeup was needed.

Next to her stood rose with her energetic smile of excitement. She wore a pink dress that went so well with the light color of her skin.
