''You sure you're confortable here ?'' I ask him looking around me ''are you sure you don't need anything else ?''

God i hate hospital. Like you can guess i don't have good memories from here, especially the oconlogy part

"Wendy sweetie, i'm fine please stop worrying about me" Stephen says relaxing in his seat as the nurse walk away after preparing him for his treatment

"how do you want me to not worrying for you ?" i scoff taking a seat next to him.

"look around you" he says throwing his arms around him "i have everything i need here. I have a book if i get bored, i have a bucket if i need it and i even have you" he smiles "the only thing i have that i don't need is my cancer" he laughs

"that's not funny" i say trying to stop my laughter. I know i shouldn't laugh at that and usually i wouldn't have if it was someone else who said this but what can i say ? He makes me laugh even at the worst situation

"do you want a blanket ?" i ask just to be sure making him groan "Wendy shut your little mouth and enjoy the calm here" he says closing his eyes

i try to relax in my seat but my mind seems to not want me to. I look around me to find four people who are in a seat around us. There's a woman, maybe in her early thirties with a little boy on her lap. He reads her a book while she closes her eyes and enjoy quietly, sometimes she corrects the little boy but he's clearly very smart for his young age

There's a couple a few seat away from us. They're holding each others hand while the man is getting his treatment. I'm sure they are in their seventies making me instantaly sad. Them and the woman seems to enjoy their life even with what happen to them

i don't know how they can survive this but they don't seems sad about the situation. From what i see they seems to enjoy their last moment with their family or until they recover from this damn disease

"talk to me about the wedding" Stephen speaks making me snap out of my own thought "are you excited ?" he smiles looking at me

"of course i am" i chuckle "Kellie waited this her whole life and i waited a long time to be her bridesmaid. She better make me do a thing either way i won't be happy" i say making him laugh

"i'm sure she will. Beside you already gonna have to do a speech in front of everyone and walking down the aisle just before her. That's already some big things" he says opening his magazin's sport

"yeah and i can't wait to make a speech" i roll my eyes "seriously do you see me making a speech in front of people i don't even know ?"

he laughs "you'll be fine. Just imagine them naked and it will be okay" he says seriously as he reads his thing

"i can't believe you just said that" i laugh

We sat there for a little while without saying anything. He only groans when I turn my head to look at him to see if he's okay so I immediately look away

''Did Marina send you a message ?'' I ask eventually breaking the silent who was peaceful but right now I need to change my mind

''She sends me a message when she was at the restaurant with her friend and she simply answers mine when I told her we arrived here'' he says still looking at his magazine

It's always Marina who came with him for his treatment but when Stephen learns that one of her friend proposed her to go eat something together he almost throws her himself in front of the restaurant

He wanted her to enjoy herself because she doesn't go out with her friends like before when he wasn't sick so he told her to go

She didn't want to let him alone knowing it's a hard treatment so she asked me if I was free today to go with him
