Not one single tear fall on her cheek as she puts a picture of Stephen and her beside the bed with the letter behind it

Wendy it's another thing. She doesn't let out an emotion since the doctor declared Stephen dead

It's worrying me more than ever because I know Wendy. She isn't like that. She doesn't push away her pain when she is in. Usually she asks for help or comfort but here, nothing

Her world is totally different and for the first time, I don't know what to do

It's like all she did to be where she is right now is falling apart. All her effort about her eating is starting to go down

She doesn't want to dance anymore. It's been five days and in those five days she didn't do anything outside of the house

I'm clueless and it's the first time I feel like this. I want to help her but I feel like she doesn't let me do something

''Wendy ?'' I ask carefully

She turns her head to me waiting for me to say why I called her ''how are feeling ?'' I say sitting on the bed beside her

She sighs and gets up ''why you keep asking me this question all the time ?'' She asks raising her voice

''Wendy I'm worried about you. Don't you see ? I don't know what to do and you don't let me help you'' I say standing up facing her

She scoffs ''what make you think that I want your help ?''

''Wendy I know you. I know when you need something even if you don't tell me''

She chuckles nervously or because of the anger she feels in her chest ''you keep telling me that you know me but in reality you don't'' she crosses her arms

I raise an eyebrow waiting for her to continue and daring her to say what she's gonna say ''I don't need people asking me question. I need calm, I need quiet, I need-

She starts to breath like she's trying to hold her tears and I'm ready to take a step toward her and catch her before she falls in her tears

Which is happening right now. She lets out some sobs and rests her hands on her knees. I jump to her and wrap my arms around her waist

She wraps her arms around my neck tiredly and she sobs on my shoulder ''I-I just n-need him''

''I know baby. I know'' I whisper stroking her back ''it's hard to live something like this and I hope I could do something, anything who'll make you feel better'' i cup her cheeks and wipe her tears with my thumb ''don't forget that you are not alone. You will never be. I'm here and I don't want you to go through that alone. Don't shut me down. Don't shut everyone down because it's not gonna help you''

''I just don't know what to do'' she sobs ''i don't know how to do it''

''That why I'm here. I'm a part of your life and I'm here to help you. Don't question yourself too much. I want you to let me help you the more I can do'' i whisper resting my forehead against hers ''just please, please don't hide your feelings. Let it out because it's gonna be more difficult for you if you hide everything''

She closes her eyes melting into my hands who warm her ''are you hungry ?'' I ask carefully

She grimaces and shakes her head. She opens her eyes and look up at me with so much sadness into them. I just want to take her pain away and burning them so they won't ever come back near her
