Derek's POV
"How do you know if I'm a virgin?"
I scoffed, looking at her, "Carla, I'm an idiot, not stupid, I know you," I said, she hit me with a pillow and I caught it, before wrapping an arm around her shoulders.
"Shut up, you loser," she told me, I snorted and shook my head at her, while watching the movie.

There was a knock on the door and Carla and I looked at each other, "Not it," I said, Carla rolled her eyes.
"You're the one paying, go get the damn pizza," she told me, crossing her arms as I rolled my eyes, getting up.
I stood up and went to the front door, pulling my wallet out of my back pocket. I opened the front door, paid for the pizza, and went back out to Carla. I put the pizza on the coffee table and saw that Carla had laid down on the couch, I rolled my eyes. "Move your legs," I told her, and she shook her head.
"No, sit on the floor," she answered, and I noticed how she was on her phone.
"What are you doing," I asked, sitting on the floor, she shrugged.
"The whole pirate/princess thing gave me an idea for a story," she answered, I snorted, shaking my head.
"So now you're writing it?"
"Correct."
"C'mon, eat something then you can keep writing," I told her, she groaned and sat up. I opened the box and she grabbed a piece of pizza, "So what happens in the story," I asked, she shrugged.
"The princess ran away when she was a ten year old and managed to get to a pirate's ship. By the time she's twenty, she becomes captain and decides that she has to go back to her kingdom and take the throne back," she answered, I nodded.
"Sounds sick," I said, and she shrugged. "But why did she run away," I asked, Carla shrugged.
"Mother was a horrible queen and abusive and her twin sister was the same so she ran," she said, I nodded.
"How did she become captain," I asked, Carla grinned.
"She stole from the original ship she was on to buy her own and brought a few of the crew members with her," she said, I snorted.
"I wanna read it when you're done with it," I said, she sighed.
"You can edit it for me if you want," she told me, I raised an eyebrow.
"Do you have any faith in me editing your stories," I asked, she shrugged.
"Just need someone to make sure I don't skip words without thinking about it."

The next morning, I woke up, laying on the couch with Carla laying on top of me. I couldn't help but smile seeing her sleeping peacefully, but knew that she wouldn't exactly be happy about her sleeping on me. I wrapped my arms around her and slowly rolled over, trying to make sure that I didn't wake her up.
I got it so that she was laying on the couch, but that didn't leave me all that much room, unless I was pressed up against her. Still I tried moving back more and ended up falling off the couch, "Fuck," I groaned, I didn't move and just laid there.
"Charming," Carla asked, moving and then I saw her face looking down at me. "You okay," she asked, sleepily, I nodded.
"Yeah, just fell off the couch," I answered, she snorted, shaking her head.
