Carla's POV
I shot up about to scream and took a deep breath, "I can't," I muttered, pulling my knees into my chest.
It was so hard to breath that my chest felt like it was burning as Derek woke up, I rested my head on my knees. I wiped tears off my cheek, "Princess, what can I do," he asked, I shook my head.
"I-I don't know," I answered, he moved closer to me and let out a breath.
He tapped my shoulder, and I looked up at him, he had his hand held out to me and I slipped my fingers into his. "What will help," he asked, I shrugged and shook my head, sniffing. He nodded and grabbed his phone; I froze thinking he was about to call Mom when a random Imagine Dragons started playing.
I looked at him, confused, and he shrugged, "Music seems to help, so I figured try it," he said, I nodded. We sat like that for a little bit, and I leaned my head on his shoulder as I relaxed.
"Thank you," I whispered, he nodded, kissing my forehead.
"No problem," he told me, wrapping an arm around my shoulders. "Let's lay back down," he told me, I sighed and nodded slightly.
"But I don't want to sleep," I whispered, he sighed.
"It'll be okay," he told me, I nodded as we laid back down. "If not, we can attempt to drive back to your house," he said, I shook my head.
"No, I like it out here," I mumbled, he nodded. "Plus, I don't want Mom to know about this yet."
"Alright, then let's try to get some more sleep," he told me, I sighed and nodded.
"Okay," I muttered, I rested my head on his chest and he wrapped his arms around me.
"You'll be alright," he told me, kissing the top of my head.
"Thank you for staying with me, Charming," I said, as he tightened his arms around me.
"It's not a problem, Princess," he answered, as I shut my eyes.

I woke up to find Derek still asleep with his arms tight around me. I smiled at how peaceful he looked with his lips parted slightly. I shook my head, "Derek," I whispered, he didn't wake up and I sighed.
I rested my head on his chest again, not wanting to wake him up yet, especially since I woke him up in the middle of the night. "Princess," he asked, yawning, I looked up at him. "Morning," he told me, kissing the top of my head.
"What woke you up," I asked, he shook his head.
"You realize that you get restless, right," he asked me, I shrugged as I felt my cheeks starting to burn slightly.
"Sorry," I told him, he shrugged.
"I'm not worried about it," he answered, brushing hair out of my face, I smiled slightly.
"You sure," I asked, he shook his head and rolled his eyes.
"Princess, stop thinking that I'm going somewhere," he said, I snorted and shook my head.
"Fine, fine."
I relaxed and put my head back down as my phone started ringing, Derek grabbed it and answered, "Hello," he answered, I snorted and shook my head. "Oh, hey, Hannah," he said, I looked up at him as he handed me the phone. "That's for you," he told me, I snorted.
"Well, no shit," I said, causing him to laugh as I placed the phone to my ear. "What's up," I asked, she let out a breath.
"Checkup, got it," she asked, I nodded to myself.
