Derek's POV
I found Lukas and Tyler back by the drink cooler, I looked at Tyler and let out a breath, "Are you alright," I asked, he was tense and looked like he was gonna be sick.
"I'll be fine, you guys got there before anything happened," he said, I nodded as he glanced towards the front door. "Is she okay," he asked, I sighed.
"She'll be alright," I answered, Lukas frowned and let out a breath.
"Let's hurry up so we can get home," he said, I nodded as I glanced at the ice coffee on the counter and I smiled.
"Oh, this is gonna be fun," I said, walking over to it and getting a mocha iced coffee.
Lukas came over to me, "Since when do you drink coffee," he asked, I shook my head and shrugged.
"I don't, Carls does, she didn't ask for anything and told me to surprise her, so she's getting coffee and gummy worms," I said, walking over to the candy and grabbing the gummy worms as Tyler came over with drinks in his hands. "We ready," I asked, they nodded and we headed for the front counter, setting all of our stuff up on the counter.

I got in the driver's seat as Carla drummed on her dash singing along to The Phoenix, "So we can take the world back from a heart attack," she sang, nodding along. "One maniac at the time we will take it back," I grinned at her as she looked at me.
"You are such a dork," I told her, and she rolled her eyes at me.
"Shut up," she answered, her smile was forced and she was trying to force herself to be fine.
I rolled my eyes and handed her her coffee and gummy worms, "There you go," I said, her face lit up.
"Thanks, Charming," she said, I nodded.
"No problem, Princess," I agreed, as the song ended and I put her truck in reverse, starting to leave.
Tyler cleared his throat and I looked at him, "You taking requests," he asked, Carla let out a breath and glanced back.
"As long as it's good, yeah," she answered, I snorted and shook my head as Tyler nodded.
"Okay, Day of the Battle, Jon-"
"Jonas Myrin," Carla asked, flipping around to look at him, he nodded and she grinned and nodded. "Hell, yeah."
She faced forward and the song started playing, I looked at her, grinning, "You are such a dork."
"Shut up, loser," she told me, I laughed and grabbed her hand, kissing the back of it.

I pulled up to Carla's house and Hannah and Cynthia immediately came outside as Carla got out of the truck. Hannah walked up to her and grabbed her arms, "Where have you been and why didn't you tell me where you went," she asked, moving to cup one of Carla's cheeks, Carla shook her head and looked down.
"Ty's in the back seat," she whispered, Cynthia opened the door to see Tyler and Lukas.
"Why did you guys go get him," Cynthia asked, as I got out of the truck, going around the front and to Carla.
She shrugged, "I'm going to bed," she muttered, pulling away from Hannah and going inside, I gulped.
"He threatened me," Tyler said, getting out as Hannah glanced back at the front door.
"Why," she asked, looking at him again, he looked down, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Cause, Lukas and I are... um..." he stopped, as Cynthia clenched her jaw.
