Carla's POV
I buried my face into Derek's shoulder, yawning, Derek tightened his arms around me as I glanced up. Rylee was asleep and curled up on the recliner while Dakota was asleep on the floor with Kallie laying on her. I smiled slightly and buried my face back into Derek's shoulder as I heard someone walk downstairs.

I woke up to someone shaking me, "What," I groaned, looking up to see Tyler and Zack.
"C'mon, it's time to get up," Zack told me, I shook my head and shut my eyes.
"No."
"It's time for presents," Tyler told me, I looked at him.
"Does it look like I care about presents?"
Zack rolled his eyes at me, "Carls, you try to sleep in every year and every year you get in trouble for it," he said, I groaned and buried my face in Derek's shoulder.
"Rylee's listening to embarrassing stories about you and Derek," Tyler told me, I shook my head.
"We've told her most of them."
"Just get up," Mom said, as I heard her walking over to us, I groaned and shook my head.
"But I'm tired," I groaned, Derek moved and tightened his arms around me.
"Please, get up," she said, I sighed and sat up.
Derek pulled me back into him, "Princess," he groaned, "where are you going?"
I yawned, "We need to get up," I said, shaking him, he groaned and looked at me.
"I don't want to."
"Charming, I don't really think we have a choice here," I told him, he huffed and sat up beside me.
"What's up," he asked, rubbing his face, I shrugged.
Mom let out a breath as Tyler and Zack went into the kitchen, "Not that I'm surprised that you showed up here in the middle of the night, Der, but when did you get here," she asked, he shrugged.
"Um," he paused, grabbing his phone, "one thirty two in the morning?"
She snorted, "What possessed you to come over here at one in the morning," she asked, I let out a breath and raised my hand.
"Ry and I both had nightmares, but apparently she's more coherent after them than I am. I'm guessing she called Derek," I answered, shrugging and glancing down.
Mom frowned, "What was the nightmare about," she asked, I bit my lip.
"He got me again," I whispered, she swallowed and kissed my head.
"It won't happen," she told me, her saying that didn't change the fact that I currently wanted to puke from even thinking about it.
Derek looked at me, "Princess, why don't we eat breakfast," he asked, I shrugged.
"You're gonna fight me if I don't, so I don't think I have a real choice here," I answered, he smirked and nodded.
"Correct, food, now," he told me, I rolled my eyes.
"Bite me," I told him, as we got up and headed into the kitchen with Mom. Tyler, Zack, Ella, and Rylee were sitting at the table and talking. I sat next to Rylee and Derek sat beside me as I noticed the presents sitting in front of Zack and Ella. Cynthia had a cup of coffee in her hands and I looked at her, "Can I have a cup," I asked, and she gave me a look.
"No, cause then you drink too much and you sleep even less than you already do," she told me, I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms.
"Fine," I huffed, leaning back in my seat as Derek snorted and shook his head.
