Eight Years Later
I walked into my high school and headed for my locker, ignoring a few people that were whispering about me. At the center of the group talking shit was Myra Lynn, she didn't like me because I wouldn't let her bully other people. Oh, um, by the way, I'm Carla Smith, and I'm not a fan of bullies.
I stopped in front of my locker and did the combo to open it, then it slammed shut, I rolled my eyes and turned to my right. "Ridley, could you stop fucking with my shit," I asked, he smirked at me.
"Nope," he answered, leaning back against the lockers beside mine.
"Loser," I muttered, he stuck his tongue out at me. Introducing Derek Ridley, one of the few people that I'd even slightly considered a friend, not that I'd ever tell him that. Our friendship got fucked over when I turned ten, I didn't want to be around people after what happened and I pushed him away, but that only worked to a certain point.
I let out a breath as I opened my locker again, "Where are the guys," I asked, he shrugged.
"Fuck if I know," he answered, I snorted, shaking my head. "We all got here at the same time, but I have no idea where they went after that," he said, I nodded.
"Eh, Ridley," someone yelled, Derek and I snorted.
"Found them," he said, I nodded.
"Noticed," I answered, as four guys came over to us. Jacob, Issac, Charlie, and Lukas. Jacob is an asshole and if he doesn't like you then he'll try to make your life suck, just my luck, we hate each other. Issac is relaxed and can get along with just about anyone unless you are a bitch or asshole to everyone. Charlie was the smart one of the group. If you need help with homework then you go to him. Finally, Lukas he is chaotic and idiotic and he's lucky that he hasn't been expelled.
Someone wrapped their arm around me and I immediately pushed them away from me, turning to see who it was. Jacob. "Could you fuck off," I asked him, he glared at me, I hated it when people touched me.
"Maybe stop being such a bitch," he answered, I glared back before turning back to my locker.
"Back off, Jacob," Derek told him, I clenched my jaw as I looked for my earbuds.
"Why because she's scared," he sneered, I rolled my eyes as I found them.
"Why because she's scared," I mocked, sticking them in my pocket as I turned around. That was when Myra walked up to me, "Fuck this," I muttered, pushing hair out of my face.
"What's new with the fuck up," she asked me, I shook my head.
"I have to get to class," I muttered, trying to weave in between the guys and Myra. Derek, Issac, Charlie, and Lukas moved out of my way while Myra stepped in my way. "Can you fuck off," I asked, she smirked at me.
"Why should I," she asked, I let out a breath and shook my head.
"Just forget it," I answered, pushing past her and trying to walk to class, when she grabbed my arm. I clenched my jaw, I fucking hated when people touched me and if anyone else touches me today, I will lose my shit.
"It's not like you didn't know that you were a fuck up," she told me, I clenched my jaw and shook my head.
"Whatever," I muttered, walking away from the group and heading to class, I took a deep breath as I heard someone run up behind me.
"Princess," Derek called, catching up to me, I shook my head.
"Just leave me alone, Derek," I answered, he was walking side by side with me.
