Derek's POV
I was hanging out at Carla's before we were going to go see the new Spider-Man movie. Rylee and I were suggesting new writing ideas to Carla which was kinda annoying her and making her laugh. While Tyler and Lukas were upstairs in his room, "C'mon, think about it, a medieval story with lightsabers," Rylee said, Carla laughed and leaned her head back.
"I'm not writing a medieval story where they have lightsabers," she said, and Rylee pouted as I shook my head.
"Alright, but how about a Percy Jackson fanfic where Leo made lightsabers," I suggested, Carla paused and shook her head.
"No, stop it," she told us, as someone knocked on the front door. She got up, "That was great timing," she said, walking to the front door, Rylee looked at me.
"Who could that be," she asked, I shrugged.
"I don't know."
When Carla didn't come back with anyone I got up and headed to the front door, "Princess," I asked, walking up to her and wrapping an arm around my waist. I looked at the people at the door and grinned, "Kas, Leo," I said, Leo nodded at me as Kas grinned at me.
"Der," Kas answered, Carla shook her head, chuckling at us, "my favorite artist friend."
I laughed as Leo shook his head, "Why do you guys look like you're about to leave," he asked, Carla checked the time and groaned.
"We are going to watch the new Spider-Man movie and we need to be at the mall in like twenty minutes," she said, Kas's eyes lit up and looked at Leo.
"Can we go see it," she asked, Leo snorted and looked at Carla and I.
"Could we tag along," he asked, we nodded.
"Yeah, it's the whole friend group going with their younger siblings," I said, Carla pulled away and walked back into her house.
"Guys, let's go," Carla called, I snorted and shook my head.
"She is such a fucking dork," I muttered, Kas nodded and covered up a wince. "Sorry," I said, looking at her, she shook her head.
"It's not your fault," she said, I shrugged.
"Yeah, but I kinda should start putting a filter on it," I said, Leo nodded.
"Yeah, believe me, I'm learning this the hard way too," he said, I laughed as I heard people walk back over to us.
"So, who's ready to watch the new Spider-Man movie," Carla asked, everyone cheered as Rylee and Kas tilted their heads.
"Who's this," Kas asked, Carla and I grinned.
"Well, the blonde boy who is still a loser from when we were children i-"
"Tyler," Kas exclaimed, Tyler's jaw dropped and he shook his head.
"Kassie," he asked, she winced and his eyes widened. "Sorry, you probably don't go by that anymore, do you?"
She shook her head, "No, I don't and, uh, just don't call me that anymore," she said, shrugging, Leo looked at her, shaking his head.
"I'm going to kill her one day," he said, as Kas sighed.
"You aren't going to do anything, Leo," she told him, he rolled his eyes.
"Since when do I actually listen to that?"
"Since I'll stop staying with you," she answered, crossing her arms, he froze, his tongue moving his cheek as he shook his head.
"Got it, not doing anything," he agreed, I looked at Carla and shook my head.
