Chapter 9 Video games!

I woke up in the morning. I looked over to my phone and it was....4:05. Dang. Thats early.

I get up and rub my eyes, deciding to eat something since I already know I won't be able to go back to sleep.

I get up and just decide to eat an apple. I heard a creek and look over. Sanemi's also awake.

"Oh...hey Sanemi, you hungry?"

Sanemi shakes his head and sits down across the table from me.

"No, thats ok, why are you awake?"

"Oh, that, well, I just woke up. I dunno why, I just did. It's not a big deal though, I usually wake up at 5:30 anyways, no biggie."

Sanemi just stiffened his face at me.

"...You just get up at thag time for no real reason?"

"Yeah, basically. Wait-....why are you awake?"

"I'm used to being awake at this time-demon slaying, you know?"

"Yeah, I know..."

"...That reminds me. You said you watched the anime I'm from, right?"

"Yeah."

"Well...why did you watch the anime I'm from?"

"Well, when I first heard of it, it was from one of my friends, her name is Shelby. She LOVES Anime. Absolutely adores it! I used to not know what anime was, and when I asked what it is, she grabbed me and said 'I have much to show you'. First, she showed me an Anime called 'My Hero Academia' it's pretty good. Then, she showed me 'Attack on Titan', then 'The Promised Neverland', then, she showed me your anime 'Demon Slayer'."

"...Ok. So you just know my Anime from this girl named 'Shelby' and you just liked it???"

"Yep. Basically."

"...What about the others? The others from...video games?"

"Ah. That. Well, the first of them I heard of was DDLC-the one Monika's from. My Sister showed me that one. Then there's Maki-got into that by my sister AGAIN. Then, there's Flowey, from Undertale, I love playing that game! Then there's Villager, from Animal Crossing! Surprisingly I got into Animal crossing last, isn't it???"

"...Hm...so they are from video games...what even is a video game???"

"How about we play some today? It's easier to show than to explain."

Sanemi paused for a moment before nodding.

"Ok, that sounds good."

"Good."

I smiled and continued eating. Sanemi returned to the living room. Man, what game should I show them???....Oh! I know!

A couple hours later-when it was 10:34, I decided to show them 'Video games'.

I walked into the living room with a knowing style and stood in front of them.

"Ok everyone! We're gonna play some video games!!!"

They all cheered. I pulled out a game and smirked.

"We're gonna play a wonderful game, called 'Five nights at Freddy's'~"

"AHHH!!!"

Monika screeched at the jumpscare of Bonnie on the TV. Sanemi flinched at the sudden noise and scare, Villager clutched onto me. Maki flinch was way more noticeable than Sanemi's, and Flowey didn't even look scared.

"You all are scardy-cats."

"No we're not! How come you weren't scared?!"

Monika asked. Flowey looks away.

"...It's hard to feel scared with no soul."

Only Maki caught onto his sentence, but didn't question it. I sighed, after playing this game again and again, I have grown ALMOST immune to the jumpscares.

I approached and grabbed the controller.

"Alright, let me do this."

"AHHH! WHY?! This game is impossible!"

I yelled from frustration. I was on the third night and I died by Foxy!

Sanemi looked at the controller, than back at me.

"Can...can I play?"

"Sure, go ahead."

I taught Sanemi the controls and let him play. Surprisingly, he's very good at horror games. While playing, I noticed him smirk as he beats the fifth night. He jumps up and laughs a little.

"Yesss!!! Wooo! Lets go! Ha! Take that, stupid animatronics! Can't kill me now cause I won! Ha!"

Sanemi looked very proud of himself. I rolled my eyes and smiled playfully. Make clapped.

"Good job Shinazugawa."

"Hmph! Thanks."

Sanemi looked proud. Man, he must be in a good mood. Villager smiled at him. Monika claps a little and Flowey just shrugs.

"Ha! Is that all you got, animatronics?!"

He yells/asks.

"Nope."

I answer for him and I take out Fnaf 2 and put it in.

After teaching the Sanemi the controls (and the names of the animatronics), he was an absolute beast in that game. He was now on his 4th night.

"Wind the music box...got it-stupid Toy freddy! No-get back Foxy! Mangle, go back to your stupid place!...No, no no! Balloon boy! Go back! Don't give me that laughter! Nobody likes you when you do that! Toy Bonnie, go away! Ha! Idiot! You thought I was Freddy, think again! Go away, Normal Chica! Go back to parts and services-YESSS!!!"

Sanemi had just beaten the fourth night.

"Ha! This game is easy! How is it that difficult?!"

I sighed and immediately wished he wasn't already so good.

I looked at the time.

"Come on, guys, time for lunch."

"Ok!"

"Got it."

Villager just nods in approval. Sanemi gets up and puts the controller down.

"Can I play after??? I really wanna beat the fifth night!"

I nod.

"Sure."

Sanemi looks excited. As we were walking to the table, Sanemi kept talking about Fnaf.

"Though there's only one thing I don't understand, if the guard knows he might die the first night, why would he stay any more than 5...? Why would he even stay any more than two???"

I had immediately decided that Sanemi was to become a FNAF fan. He has no choice. He's already heading down that road.

Well...I think he's just gonna be into horror games-or survival games! Ooohhhh! Just wait for FNAF 4/Sister location, Sanemi. Just you wait....
