Chapter 29 New detective and a murderer

Ender's POV

I woke up due to a loud banging in our room. I got up in a flash.

I looked out to see...Shuichi?! He was rubbing his head.

"Ow...huh?! Where am I-"

"Shuichi???"

I heard Maki's voice. I saw her get up and walk to him.

"Shuichi...is that...is that really you??"

Maki began tearing up. Shuichi nodded as Maki squished his cheeks between her hands.

"U-Uh, yes, it's really me, Maki. Whats wrong-"

Maki then hugged Shuichi in a squeezed hug. After a couple of moments, Shuichi hugged back.

"Uhm...is...is something wrong, Maki?"

He asked. Maki stopped hugging him and looked at him directly.

"What do you mean?! I haven't seen you in at least a week! I was worried!"

"A week...? No. That can't be right, I saw you a couple hours ago."

"...what?"

Maki seemed shocked and blinked blankly at Shuichi. Shuichi looked to the side.

"Uh...yeah?"

"...But-"

"Maybe this time works differently than your universes time."

Monika answered. Maki looked back at Shuichi in relief. That meant almost nothing happened since she left.

"...Well...uhm...can I know whats going on now?"

Shuichi tilted his head.

*after explanation*

"...So...we're in a different world where we're a video game and we're trying to find a way back?"

"Yes. That's correct."

"...Well...thats interesting."

"So, who's that guy?"

Sanemi asked. Shuichi laughed a little.

"O-Oh, right, my name is Shuichi Saihara, the ultimate detective-though, I'm not much of a detective"

"Hm. Another detective."

Flowey said, though he didn't look as interesting as L.

"Another?"

"There's another house in which also have fictional characters. The owner of the house name is Lexa, and there's someone from another killing game there."

"...really??? Who?"

"His name is Nagito Komeada, the ultimate lucky student. Though, be aware, he's..not someone one would call 'exactly sane'. Trust me, he's still sane, just...seems to be somewhat loosing it."

"...I see...are we going to see them?"

"Yeah, we were getting ready to leave, actually."

Monika answered. Shuichi stopped.

"Wait, I still don't know the rest of your names."

"Oh. I'm Monika."

"Sanemi Shinazugawa."

"...Flowey."

"V...Villager!"

"Isabelle!"

"I'm Aether, and thats Ender."

Arther pointed at me. I nodded.

Shuichi nods.

"A pleasure to meet all of you."
