Villager grabbed my hand.

"Maddie!"

He took me to the living room. I saw a sign that said 'Karaoke day!'. He handed me a piece of paper.

'Can I sing Karaoke?'

He asked. I just couldn't say no.

"Sure you can Villager! Knock yourself out!"

He beamed at that. He grabbed a microphone and made me sit on the couch. He played the song 'Whenever Wherever' and pretended to sing to it-well, he did but it was in squiggles since he's still learning how to speak.

I noticed Isabelle playing the music on a loudspeaker-wait...I don't own a loudspeaker...did they just have that in their pockets???

Ok, I'm scared.

The music, however, did draw attention to the others.

Sanemi was the first to come in here.

"Whats going on?"

"Karaoke. Wanna watch?"

He slowly nodded and sat down next to me. We watched as Villager finished the song.

I clapped for him, Sanemi clapped slightly nodded. Villager bowed and jumped off the stage, handing the Mic to me.

I shook my head violently and I blushed of embarrassment.

"N-No! No! I can't sing! I'm very bad at it-"

"Sure you can, go on."

Sanemi pushed me forward. Maki and Monika entered the room. The first thing Monika saw was the microphone I was holding. She beamed.

"*gassppp* Your gonna SING for us?! Yes! Please do Maddie!"

Monika sat down and Maki sat with her. That's when I noticed Flowey on the counter. I sighed and walked up to the tiny 'stage', which I'm guessing Villager and Isabelle made. I sighed as I walked up.

They let me choose which song to do, so I did the best one I could do.

I ended up singing 'Firework' by Katy.

Once I was done, everyone clapped.

"You did so good!"

Monika cheered. Maki nodded.

"Better than what I could do."

Sanemi nodded, obviously agreeing to what Maki had said. I looked at Villager, he signed for me to give it to someone, so I gave it to Monika.

Monika blushed of embarrassment.

"U-Uhm...my singing is...well...alright, alright! I'll sing!"

We cheered as she got up. She choose the song 'Love Story'. Her gentle voice definitely matched the song.

We cheered as she finished.

"Good job, Moni!"

Monika blushed slightly at the nickname I gave her. She then smiled and bowed.

"Thank you!"

Villager then signed for her to pass it off. She passed it to Maki, who just sat still and shook her head.

"I....I think I'm good, thank you."

"No! I bet your an amazing singer, don't be shy, Maki! Me, Maddie and Villager did it just fine!"

"First of all, I can't sing. Second of all, Villager is a child, he won't be embarrassed. Third of all, you and Maddie can sing pretty good. In conclusion, you guys aren't afraid of looking stupid, but I would rather back out then look like an idiot."

Maki turned her head away. Monika sighed.

"Please Maki, we promise we won't laugh!"

Maki waited a couple seconds before sighing and taking the Mic.

"If I do this, will you stop annoying me about it?"

Monika nods.

"Yep!"

Maki walks to the stage. She picks a song called 'this is what you came for'.

She had to read the lyrics as she sang, so she had some trouble due to the fact she still couldn't read english well, but it was still wonderful!

We cheered as she finished.

"...There."

"Amazing Maki! See, you can sing just fine!"

Maki just nods. Maki, who started understanding the cycle, passed the Microphone to Sanemi.

Sanemi stared at it like it was the worst thing in the world.

"No. Never in a million years, no."

"I didn't want to do it either, just get it over with. There's nothing to be ashamed of. But just know we're not going to let go of the fact you didn't sing."

Sanemi huffed and grabbed the Mic.

He walked up with a nervous look, obviously unsure of what to do.

I decided to help him and helped him choose a song.

I didn't know if he would like it but I chose the song 'I'm still standing' for him. He also had to read the lyrics and fumbled a little since he was still learning

We also cheered for him as the song finished. He blushed of embarrassment and turned away, giving the Mic to Isabelle.

Isabelle smiled and hugged Sanemi, and he had no idea what to do so he just patted her head.

When he let go, he went back to the couch. Maki nodded at him and gave him a slight smile.

Isabelle then put the mic in her pocket, grabbed the stage and the speaker and put it in her pocket.

"How-know what, I give up asking."

Flowey groaned at them.

I sighed.

"Some things will just remain a mystery."
