Chapter 7 New Villager

"Villager?!"

I exclaimed. Flowey's vines were gripping onto Villager from animal crossing! His circle hands were pulling on the vines, attempting to break free!

I immediately went over and hit on Flowey's vine.

"Stop! Bad Flowey, bad!"

"Ow!-hey! Stop that! I'm only protecting the house, like you told me to do!"

Flowey huffed. Villager gave an angry look at Flowey and he puffed his cheeks at him. I smie a little and grab Villagers hand. Villager looks up at me, confused, but he didn't say anything.

"Hello, my name is Maki, Maki Harukawa. What is your name?"

She asked. Villager tilted his head. He shook Maki's hand-somehow grabbing it despite his hand being a circle.

Maki accepted the handshake and returned to gesture. Sanemi was just straight up confused.

"What is your name?"

Maki asked again. Villager didn't say anything. Well-he did, but it was a bunch of squiggles. Maki tilted her head.

"...What?"

Villager repeated, but nobody understood. Thats when I decided to cut in.

"His name is 'Villager'. He's from a video game known as 'Animal Crossing'. It's a really cute and adorable game! I have it on my phone-well-pocket camp. It's still really adorable!"

I explained. Maki nods.

"Alright...I understand now."

Villager smiles and looks at Monika. Monika smiles and approaches villager. She holds out her hand.

"Hello, my name is Monika! I hope we can be friends!"

Villager nods and shakes Monika's hand. He then turns to Sanemi. Sanemi stares at him for a couple seconds.

Sanemi, however, didn't hold out his hand.

"...Hi...?"

Was all he said. Villager frowned at not shaking his hand. He (somehow) held up one finger and used his other hand to grab something from behind his back.

Then he brought something out. It was a bag. He then held it out to Sanemi. Sanemi grabbed it, looking confused, and opened it. Inside was a pear 🍐.

Sanemi grabbed it out of the bag and began inspecting it, it looked ripe.

He looked back down at Villager, who had a knowing smile. Villager than stretched out his hand to shake Sanemi's.

Sanemi waited a little bit before sighing and shaking his hand. Villager smiled at him.

Villager then turned to me and took out his hand.

"I'm Maddie. Nice to meet you Villager! The guy you just shook hands with is Sanemi."

I then pointed at Flowey.

"And this is Flowey!"

Flowey smiled at him.

"Howdy. Sorry about squeezing you, just doing what I said I was doing."

In reality, Flowey was just bored. Villager, however, was very forgiving and nodded as a way to forgive him.

I sigh.

"Well, Villager, your sorta stuck in this world, and I think you should stay here until we find a way to get you back. Sound good?"

Villager thought for a moment before nodding his head.

I smile at him and pat him head. He smiles at the touch.

"Thanks Villager, means a lot."

"Ahem!"

I looked back to see Monika raising an eyebrow and tapping her foot, her hands on her hips. I laugh nervously.

"Same to you, Monika! I appreciate you here to!"

Monika then smiles.

"Yay!!!"

"A-And I'm glad your here to, Maki, Flowey and Sanemi! It's been lonely lately, so I'm glad your here for the time being!"

I smiled at them. I notice Maki blushing a little from embarrassment. Kaito's probably the only one who's said that before-maybe Shuichi...I don't remember DRV3 that well.

Sanemi's eyes widen a tiny bit, but thats about it.

Flowey looks at me, he looked so confused. I remember that one scene in the game where if you mercy him a bunch of times he just says 'I just can't understand'.

Villager smiles and takes out an orange. He proceeds to eat it, very happily.

Monika giggles and Sanemi looks confused.

"Where does he get this stuff from?"

"He just has it on him."

"At all times?"

"Yep. At all times."

Sanemi looks at Villager, very concerned. Villager gives him an innocent, childlike look.

Sanemi sighs.

"Whatever..."

Monika pokes my shoulder, I look at her.

"Yes, Monika?"

"So....what should we do now?"

"...Hm....watch 'The floor is Lava'!"

"What? What the hell is that???"

Sanemi asked. I smiled.

"It's a TV show! Don't worry, the lava isn't real, it's just colored water, the goal is to not fall in! Wanna watch???"

Sanemi thinks for a moment before-

"Sure. It sounds interesting."

Maki jumped in. Flowey nods.

"I agree. Even if it's not real, watching people fall to their doom is entertaining."

Monika sighs.

"Well, if you wanna watch it Maddie, than I'm down!"

I look at Sanemi. He shrugs.

"I don't really care. If you want to, I guess I can...give it a shot."

"Great! Villager?"

I look down at Villager. He nods in agreement. I smile.

"Great! Lets watch 'the floor is lava'!"

We all went to the living room to watch the floor is lava. Villager grabbed Flowey. We all reached the living room.

Villager sat down on the couch and placed Flowey in his lap.

Monika sat next to Villager. I sat next to Monika, Sanemi sat on my left, and Maki say on the floor, next to Sanemi.

Man. I have so many people in my house now!
