Another detention

"Professor Lupin?"

"Miss Snape? As I know, you should be in a lesson right now" eyebrows raised, hands crossed over his chest, man spreading in his chair.

"I have free-"

"Don't lie, why aren't you in potions?"

"Because I have other things to do"

"You are a student, you don't have 'other things to do' than being in lesson and studying. You will get a detention"

"Yes yes, I came about the werewolf essay"

"Werewolf essay?" He furrowed his brows now.

I took it out of my bag and put it on his table.

"Professor Snape said everyone had to do it in DADA and so do I. I know how he sees werewolves so I am handing this to you not to him. I think we would have a fight when he reads my essay-"

"Breath please" he said. I stopped talking and took a breath. I was rambling, again. It was quite embarrassing.
He took it and looked both sides of it.

"Professor Snape sometimes- takes over my lessons when I have fallen ill" he said "I will read it when I have time, I probably won't grade it before next week"

"Yes uhm that's okay. It's just- I don't want to fight with da- professor Snape"

"Can I ask, why you two would fight over this?"

"He despises werewolves and if you have the time to read my essay, then you'll realize"

"Very well" he sighed and put it on top of the papers what he had to grade. "Your detention will be tonight, after dinner"

"Really?" I groaned

"Yes" he chuckled "now go, I'll ask professor Snape if you made it to the lesson"

"Fine, have a good day sir"

"You as well, miss Snape"

And with that I left, making my way to the potion classroom.

As soon as I stepped in I got another detention for tomorrow. I rolled my eyes, made my way over to my seat, opened my textbook with a thud and looked around to see what we were even doing.

"We are finishing yesterdays potions" one Slytherin girl said. I nodded as thanks and grabbed my cauldron where was amortentia Potion.

"Why were you late?" I almost jumped out of my skin. I placed my hand over my heart and took a deep breath.

"I gave one essay to Lupin"

"It could have waited"

"Not really, I don't have a lesson with him today and it had to be done by today. I passed his class and took the opportunity to give it to him"

"You could have walked there later, in your free time"

"It's done now, I got my detention"

He rolled his eyes at me and walked back to his table.

When the lesson was over I made my way to my next lesson and then another one and then another one.

Once classes were over, I sneaked outside, making sure no one saw me, and that the bloody dementors wouldn't come and suck my soul out.

I walked over to my favorite place, it was the bridge what lead to Hosgmeade.

I cleaned off the snow from the ground, placed over myself a warmth spell and sat down. I lit my cigarette, where did I got it? It was a secret.
