Who is my mother?

"Hi" I hugged her tightly

"Oh dear, I have not seen you for so long" she said in her Scottish accent.

"Just few weeks" I chuckled

When we pulled away, she cupped my cheeks and pursed her lips.

"How are you?" She asked "Severus told me..."

"I am good. Remus and I are doing well"

"Oh, I am so happy to hear that" she smiled

"Would you like tea?" I smiled at her. She nodded and we walked to the kitchen.

She took a seat and waited patiently for me to make us tea.

"So, tell me, how is Remus?"

"Eh, good, it was full moon two nights ago and he is still tired. He is sleeping right now but maybe you'll see him"

"He has not...hurt you anymore, has he?"

"No" I shook my head "it still takes some time to completely forgive him and trust him but we are taking step by step"

"As long as you two are happy"

"We are"

"And how is Mr. Black?"

"Oh Minnie, you can call me Sirius" the man sang it whilst walking into the kitchen, wearing a smug grin on his face.

Minerva pursed her lips but smiled anyway.

"But I am doing absolutely fantastic. How are you dear Minnie?"

"Minerva" She corrected "I am doing very well considering the circumstances, thank you"

"Pads, you want tea?"

"Nope" he said and took out a bottle of whiskey

I rolled my eyes at him and Minerva looked with shock at him.

"Well, I will see you later, Minnie" he winked at her and laughed at her shocked expression before walking out of the room.

Minerva shook her head but relaxed once I sat down.

I handed her the tea and then I felt how my heart started to beat and palms started to sweat.

"So..." I said "I- I wanted to talk to you about something, but I should talk to you before talking to dad"

She nodded me to go on.

"I have been thinking about...mother" I whispered the last part. Minerva blinked but still stayed quiet.

"I have been thinking for some time now and I think I know who she is. All what I have thought makes a lot of sense. Is- Is my mother Lily?"

There was a silence before she took a deep breath and closed her eyes, nodding slowly.

I took out the photo and showed it to her.

"It's me-"

"Where did you got this picture?"

"From Remus, he is the only one who kn-"

"Yes. He came to me, begging my help. They were so young, I couldn't say no. Lily made me your godmother so I could be your guardian. She really loved you and did not want to leave you. But you know all what happened next"

"Yes"

"You are related to Harry as you know"

"Yes"

"Can I ask how did you come to the conclusion that she is your mother?"

"Just a lot of things: dad's love for her, Harry's and my eyes, my hair color, this picture and Remus said that they gave the baby to you so...yeah"

She took my hand in hers and squeezed it.

"Severus have always wanted to tell you. He never wanted to keep you in the dark. You should let him know next time that you know about it"

"Yes, I'll talk to him. But I have no idea how I am going to explain that to Remus, or Sirius" 

Just then the door opened again and very sleepy Remus walked in. It was such a deja vu.
He rubbed his eyes and greeted us.

He walked over to us to make a cup of tea himself.

"How did you sleep?" I asked him

"Good"

"Did I woke you up?" He looked from me to Minerva and then understood that she knew. He relaxed and shook his head

"No, you didn't"

"How are you feeling, Remus?" Minerva asked from him

"Good, thank you, how about you?" 

"I am doing quite well, thank you" 

"Can I sit here or you want to talk between yourselves?" Remus asked

"You can sit here" Minerva said with a small smile. 

Remus pulled out a chair next to me and sat down, stirring his tea. He placed his one hand on my thigh and squeezed it a little.

"When are you telling others about your...relationship?" 

We both shrugged our shoulders.

"There is no rush with that"

"Hm. Where did Sirius go? I need to talk with that young man" 

"To the balcony" Remus yawned. Minerva stood up and walked out of the room, both Remus and I feeling sorry for Sirius. 

"Come here" Remus said and patted his lap. I sat down on his lap and wrapped my arms around his neck, leaning down and kissing him softly. 

"You need to shave your beard" I chuckled and ran my thumb over his cheek

"You don't like my new style?" he mocked offense.

"mmm...no" 

He gasped dramatically before kissing me all over my face and rubbing his beard against my skin. 

"You moron" I laughed and tried to get off his lap, but he hold me down. 

"Say you like my beard" 

"Never!" 

"Say it or I won't stop" 

He started to tickle me, I was laughing hysterically, trying my best to get away. At one point I somehow managed to slip away. 

"You are so going to regret that" I laughed 

"Oh, I am so scared" 

"You should be! For your own safety you should sleep with your eyes opened tonight"

He just laughed at me before sipping his tea like nothing happened. 

"Is everything alright?" Molly asked us. We both turned to look at her and nodded. 

"Sorry for waking you up, Molly-"

"Nonsense, I was awake already. Who wants breakfast?" 

"If pancakes, then yes" 

"Vey well" I sat down back on my own seat and tried to hold a straight face. Remus looked at me, a loving gaze in his eyes. "Oh, but Remus?" Molly said

"Yes?" 

"Did you heard the news?" 

"What news?" 

"About who is joining with the order?" 

"No? Who is joining with us then?" 

"Matilde Vincent"
