THE END

"Hey" I hugged Sirius and Abby once they arrived at my cottage.

"Hi, how are you feeling?" Abby asked and looked at my red teary eyes.

"I'm fine" I said quietly

Before I could say anything else, my three year old kids ran into the room, hugging their aunty Abby and Uncle Siri. The two adults scooped up the twins and hugged them tightly.

"Hello my favorite troublemakers" Sirius said to them.

"Uncle Siri" Tobias laughed in his arms as Sirius tickled him.

I watched with a fond smile as Abby held Hope and Sirius held Tobias. The two kids were so happy and full of life. The adults gave me some time to get my things together.

I walked to my room to get myself a coat and sunglasses. I pulled the coat on and placed the sunglasses on top of my nose to hid the teary eyes.

Once I was back downstairs I ushered everyone out of the house and closed the door.

"Ready?"

"Let's go"

"Mommy? I want ice-cream. Uncle Siri said he- he buys me"

I looked at Sirius and raised an eyebrow, he only grinned in return.

"If Siri buys ice-cream to Hope as-"

"Of course I will!" he scoffed "What, you think I don't buy anything to my favorite little princess?" He said and tickled Hope this time who squirmed in Abby's hands.

"But after visiting the graveyard" I said.

I never really brought kids there with me, but this time, we had plans afterwards so they had to come.

"Yay"

On the way there, I bought few bouquets of Lilies and few candles.

"I could not thank you enough for being here for me and also looking after kids" I said to Sirius and Abby.

"Venus we have been over this several times-"

I know but still, I love you both"

"And we love you" Abby said and Sirius let out a fake gag that made all of us laugh.

Whilst the two stayed with kids, walking behind me slowly, I made my usual graveyard round. First I visited mom and James, talking to them whilst placing the flowers on the grave and putting two candles there.

And then I visited father.

Immediately I had tears in my eyes as I placed the flowers down.

"It's been over three years and I miss you every day" I whispered "Sometimes I want to ramble to you how annoyingly my kids act, they are so stubborn. Then I remember how you told me that I was so stubborn as well. They are just like me. But truthfully this behavior...it's all from you" I laughed "I just wish that you'd be here, dad"

"I know you are always looking down from the sky, how you are always next to me...but still" I sighed softly "I love you, dad, so, so much"

I turned to look around and saw my kids looking at me. I opened my arms and let them run into my arms.

"say hello to grandpa"

Their small hello's made my heart flutter. I hold in my tears and smiled brightly.

"Let's go and eat lunch now?"

"Yes!"

We sat down around the table and took the menus from the waitress.

"Kids? Fries and nuggets?"

"Yes! Yes! Yes!"

I laughed and nodded. I ordered them their food, took myself a pasta and then ordered a steak.

Just as the waitress walked away, the door burst open and my husband walked in, a suitcase in one hand and coat in the other. I smiled as I watched him trying to brush his messy hair. Kids were quick to get up and ran over to him.

"Daddy!" they laughed 

Remus placed his things down and picked them up, placing kisses all over their faces that made them laugh.

Once the three sat down, he leaned over and kissed me softly, making kids and Sirius groan.

"Hello my love"

"Hi" I smiled and brushed a hand through his hair "How was work?"

"It was good. Exam period is about to start so... I am a bit nervous and overwhelmed but my students are doing good"

"Last I remember you were a rather good professor" Abby said, making Remus smile.

Remus turned back to me and brushed his thumb over my cheekbone softly, He noticed that I had been crying.

"I am fine now"

"Are you sure?"

"Daddy! look!" Hope said and showed him a picture that was supposed to be our family.

"Oh that if beautiful my little darling, we should frame it"

"Yes" she giggled.

Remus looked proudly at his two kids before intertwining his fingers with Venus' ones. He leaned over and kissed her lips softly. 

"I love you, my Venus"

"I love you way more, my Remus" 

And that was the Lupin's family.

A family who cared and enjoyed every day they had. A family who loved each other and everyone around them. A family that made sure that everyone around them were as happy as they were.

"I did not believe my life would be filled with so much love and joy, until I found you"
