*Alex's POV*

Once Scarlette fell asleep, Avery and I helped carry Scarlette and her wheelchair downstairs to my basement because it was basically like a living room that had guest bedrooms in a separate hallway. My basement is kinda like a house underneath my house.

Jack helped make the bed in one of the guest bedrooms so Scarlette's legs could be slightly raised. After we got everything situated, Jack and Avery left and wished me luck. I'll need it.

Since I had to watch her 24/7, I brought some of my things from my room into the basement. I guess I'll be camping out down here for the month. I only grabbed the essentials: My cellphone charger, three pairs of headphones, my laptop, and two extra blankets.

I brought all of my crap to my basement and chose a guest bedroom downstairs to put it in. I picked the one across the hall from Scarlette's temporary bedroom in the event that she needed me, so that I could get to her faster.

I organized all of my stuff which took me about thirty minutes, I guess. It was only because I need an extension cord, so I had to dig around in my garage to find one.

After arranging everything, I walked over to the TV and started channel surfing. God, there's nothing good on TV anymore! I decided to watch Impractical Jokers because hey, that show is fucking hilarious!

*Scarlette's POV*

Ugh, what the hell happened... The last thing I remember is walking to Hudson's car...

Wiped my eyes with my hands and slowly blinked them open. Where am I? I tried to move my legs, but pain shot through me. I shoved blankets off of me to see both of my legs in casts.

"Hudson!" I shouted, "Am I at your house?"

I heard shuffling and then the door opened. It was Alex.

"What the hell, Alex?!"

"Let me explain!"

"Yeah, you have some serious explaining to do! Why are you at Hudson's house?!"

"First of all, this is my house! And second of all, you got hit by a car and will have to use a wheelchair for the month. I didn't volunteer to help you, they chose me to help you, so don't blame me for this! And before we get into an argument, do you want soup or something?"

"Whatever." I sighed.

Alex walked out and into another room. I wonder whose great idea it was to have Alex watch me for the month?! Why couldn't it have been Zack or Avery?

*Alex's POV*

I ran upstairs to make Scarlette some chicken noodle soup. She's probably going to make my life miserable now. It's not even my fault that I have to take care of her!

I took the soup out of the microwave and carefully carried it down the stairs and to Scarlette's room.

"Where do you want me to put it?" I asked, considering that she had casts on both legs and couldn't place the bowl on her lap.

"I'll just hold it." Scarlette said.

"Wouldn't it be hard to eat?"

"Just give it to me!" Scarlette snapped.

"Okay, okay!" I handed it to her.

She had trouble balancing it in one hand and almost spilled it a few times.

"Let me help you." I sighed.

Scarlette gave me a frustrated sigh and crossed her arms, "Don't feed it to me!"
