*Scarlette's POV*

"What's on the agenda, today?" Avery asked as we were all chowing down on breakfast in the lobby's dining room.

"Vic asked if we wanted to go to the beach today, are you guys up for it?" Rian asked.

"Of course!" Avery exclaimed.

"Oh, uh, I didn't bring a swimsuit..." I muttered.

"Just borrow one of mine." Avery offered.

I'm not much into swimming to tell you the truth. I mean, I know how to swim, I just don't like doing it. And living in Baltimore is a plus considering there are beaches in my state, but I've never been a fan of the ocean. I like listening to it and everything, but it reeks of saltwater, it tastes disgusting if you accidentally swallow it, and it burns your eyes.

"Are you sure you want to go?" Alex whispered to me.

"What? Yeah, I do, I just don't want to go swimming." I shrugged.

"You just want to tan?"

"No, no, tanning is stupid! I'll just talk with some people, watch everyone have fun, you know, what I usually do in most social situations." I explained.

"Well, if you aren't going swimming, wouldn't it be stupid to wear a swimsuit?"

Well, he has a point.

We all met up with Pierce The Veil at the beach. At the moment, Zack and Rian were hanging around in the ocean waves with Mike, Tony, Hudson, and Jesse, whereas Alex, Jack, Vic, Jaime, Avery, and I were talking and sitting in some chairs that we buried into the sand.

"Seems like you guys have been friends for a long time." Vic said.

Avery had just told them how long the two of us had been friends.

"Hey, I just remembered something from when we were Sophomores!" Avery turned to look at me.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Remember when we went to that college party and--"

"Oh my god." I laughed.

"Okay, I want to know what happened! You can't just bring it up and not say anything!" Jaime exclaimed.

"Scar, should we tell them?"

"If you want." I replied and covered my face. This story is so embarrassing.

"Okay, so when Scarlette and I were Sophomores in high school, my older brother was going to a college party and Scarlette and I really wanted to go. We ended up sneaking out and following my brother-well, we hid in the trunk-and we ended up at this party."

"What we didn't know was that there was going to be a ton of alcohol there." I added.

"Yeah," Avery said, "So we go inside, thinking that we'll be soo cool after we tell a bunch of kids from high school that we were at this party. Scarlette had no idea that alcohol was here, and she got something to drink from the punch bowl, which was a mix of exotic champagnes. I remember her saying 'holy shit this tastes amazing!' And the both of us took solo cup after solo cup of it."

"We were so drunk!" I laughed.

"Yeah, Scarlette was blackout drunk, where she didn't even know what she was doing anymore. I was really drunk, but I was still conscious. I just made stupid decisions. Plus, I recorded the whole thing on my phone when it happened, so Scarlette got to see what she did." Avery giggled.
