*Vic's POV*

I blinked open my eyes to be surrounded by smoke and the foul-smelling stench of gasoline. I was being pulled out of the wreckage of a car by paramedics.

"Sir, are you okay?" One of the paramedics asked me.

"Yeah, what happened?" I questioned, coughing from the smoke.

I was lifted into a stretcher and examined myself. I wasn't bleeding as far as I could see and I didn't feel any pain.

"You've been hit by a car. The driver left the scene, but his passenger is badly injured." The paramedic told me as they began to wheel me into an ambulance.

I looked over at the car that was totaled, no doubt. The whole front of the car was smashed against a large tree and glass shards were everywhere.

There was a second stretcher next to me in the ambulance, I'm assuming that's the passenger.

"Did you get the plate number?" Someone asked.

I saw blue and red lights flash in all directions before one of the paramedics shut the doors. As one paramedic examined me for injuries, I looked over at the stretcher next to mine.

"What are her vitals?" A paramedic screeched.

"Get her blood pressure, now!"

"Blood levels are decreasing!"

All the paramedics that were surrounding her were barking orders at each other. They were all running up and down the small aisle way and I got a glimpse of the girl in the stretcher next to me. Black hair with dyed blue tips...My brain screamed 'Scarlette'.

"Unsteady heart rate!"

"Someone insert the IV!"

"Her heart is failing..."

No. No no no no no no.

I saw movement in the corner of my eye and I turned to face the back windows of the ambulance. A guy that I didn't recognize was smirking. Almost as though he knew something I didn't. His smirk deepened and he stepped away, making himself invisible to me.

"Clear!" I heard one of the paramedics scream.

I heard an electric noise followed by a beep that went on forever.

"Clear!" The paramedic repeated and shocked Scarlette's sides. No response.

"She's gone..." Another paramedic said.

"Scarlette!" I yelled frantically.

A paramedic grabbed me and restrained me to the stretcher.

I sat up in bed in my hotel bedroom, sweat dripping off of my forehead.

"Hey, man, you okay?" Tony leaned over to look at me, "You were thrashing and talking in your sleep."

Oh thank god. It was just a dream...

"What'd I say?" I asked.

"I don't know, you were mumbling." Tony replied, "What happened?"

That's when I realized that unlike most people, whenever I dream, something bad happens.

"I think Scarlette is in trouble!"

*Scarlette's POV*

I woke up to the sunlight streaming onto my face. I clenched my eyes shut to keep the sun from burning them. That's when this thought dawned on me: 'How is there this much light in a tour bus bunk?'.
