*Scarlette's POV*

Avery and I boarded our plane home to Baltimore, almost to the BWI airport. Jesse and Hudson live in North Carolina, so that's why they aren't on the same flight as us.

Avery called dibs on the window seat, but the only thing she did was sleep the whole flight. I put on my headphones and scrolled through the songs I had on my phone. Before I could choose a song, I got a text from Alex.

"Jack told me that you guys weren't staying for the last two days of the tour :("

"Yeah, Avery and I are on our flight home right now."

"Where do you guys live?"

"Baltimore"

"SAME HERE"

"lol I'm surprised Jack didn't tell you. Avery said that she told Jack."

"Please turn off all of your electronic devices! Thank you!" The flight attendant announced.

"Hey Alex, I've gotta go. I'll talk to ya when I get home ;)" I replied and turned off my phone. So much for listening to music.

I nudged Avery awake and told her to turn off her phone as well.

"I wish we lived in the same house." Avery sighed.

"You live four houses down the street from me!"

"That's too far!"

"It takes less than five minutes to walk to my house!"

"Why would I walk? I have a car."

I sighed and shook my head. Baltimore, here I come.

I hauled my suitcases to my front door and set them on the front steps so I could grab my keys and unlock the door. I stepped in and took in the scent of my home. I grabbed my bags again and set them down in the kitchen. I checked my phone and I had no missed calls on my home phone even though I had been gone for almost three months.

Avery called my cellphone and I hooked it up to Bluetooth so I could hear her in every room in my house. I have speakers in the walls, so that's a plus.

"Hey Ave! It's almost been five minutes since we've seen each other!" I laughed jokingly.

"Scar, please tell me that you aren't doing that weird thing when you smell your house every time you come home."

"I already did." I replied, taking my suitcases to my room, "Are you unpacking?"

"No, I'm eating. Air plane food is terrible! Don't they know that frozen bread with a cube of frozen butter on it isn't toast?!" Avery complained.

I laughed and hung up my clothes in my closet.

"Hey Scar?"

"Yeah?"

"Remember when Jack and I went sight-seeing?"

"Yeah."

"Well, he let me borrow his jacket and I still have it."

"Are you going to be one of those girls that take their boyfriend's clothes and not give them back?" I laughed hysterically.

"Jack isn't my boyfriend......yet..."

"Yet?!" I doubled over with laughter.

"Speaking of Jack, he's calling me. I'll talk to you later!" Avery hung up.

I hung up the phone and continued unpacking. Once I finished, I headed downstairs to make some lemonade. Turns out, I had no lemons. But I have bottled water!
