*Scarlette's POV*

"Thank you, Montréal!" I yelled into the mic, breathing heavily as I wiped sweat from my forehead, "We have one last song tonight..."

The crowd screamed as the members of Panic! At The Disco walked on stage and stood next to me.

"We'll be singing Don't Stop Believing!" I shouted into the microphone.

Every destination, Brendon came up with the idea that both of our bands did a cover together, but it was to be different every time.

"Just a small town girl!" Brendon sang, "Living in a lonely world! Taking the midnight train going anywhere..."

"Just a city boy!" I joined in, "Living in south Detroit! He took the midnight train going anywhere!"

"Hey, I'm going Skype Alex!" I yelled as I got on the bus, hoping everyone could hear me.

I took out my cellphone and Skyped him. I waited patiently as the usual beeping proceeded. Eventually, it connected and Alex's smiling face was on my screen.

"Hi, Scarlette!" Alex grinned, "How's the tour?"

"We just finished at our first venue, actually." I replied.

"First?! We're on our third!"

"Well you didn't have to drive to Montréal and have to stop five million times because a guy named Ryan Ross was hungry every fifteen minutes!"

"Don't they have a fridge in their bus, though?"

"Yes, but trust me, the food goes by fast." I chuckled, "How's your tour been?"

"Great! The fans are amazing and it's just been pretty fun so far!"

"That's good!" I exclaimed, "Has Vic been a dick lately?"

"No, he's actually been pretty nice! But he said something last night that was really strange."

"What did he say?" I asked.

"He said-" For some reason, everything was having trouble connecting.

"What?" I raised my voice.

"Vic....trouble.....Scarlette....help...Elise...and....-" and then the power went out in the bus and the Skype call disconnected. My phone no longer had service, either.

I walked outside to see everyone looking around and they were as confused as I was.

"What just happened?" I asked.

"Look!" Spencer (drummer for Panic!) pointed out into the city.

One by one, the street lights were going out, and the building's lights were going out. The only light around was from the moon.

"Shit!" Avery muttered.

"C'mon guys! We can still go to the next venue!" Brendon tried to sound enthusiastic.

"Well what are we supposed to do on the way since the power's out?" Avery crossed her arms.

"Some of our apps don't require service or wifi, you can listen to music, you can read-" Ryan listed off options.

"Excuse me, I don't read and Crossy Road no longer pacifies me." Avery still had her arms crossed, "Scarlette's the only one here that reads. Except she only reads ryden fanfictions on Wattpad."

[A/N: In case you didn't know, "ryden" is the ship name for Brendon Urie and Ryan Ross]

"I do not!" I yelled in defense.

"Oh yeah? Then explain why you showed me that one fanfiction! It was about milk or something..."

"We don't talk about that!" Ryan and Brendon said at the same time.

"Okay, I showed you that because a fan sent it to me on Twitter and I thought it was really messed up, but you wanted me to send it to you because you thought I was being overdramatic about it!" I replied to Avery, "Plus, I don't read fanfiction, I read Stephen King and shit!"

"Excuse me?" I heard a high-pitched voice from behind me. I turned around to see somebody is never thought I'd encounter while on tour.

"Scarlette, can we talk?" It was Elise.

"Yeah, as long as you're not planning on ruining my life."

"Don't worry, I'm trying to save it."

*Alex's POV*

Skype call disconnected.

What just happened?

"Who were you talking to?" Jack walked in with Rian and Zack trailing behind.

"Scarlette called me on Skype, but it disconnected."

"Try calling her back." Zack said.

I dialed her number and instead of ringing, I was greeted by the monotone voice of "This number has either been changed or disconnected, please try again later".

"Something weird is going on..." I looked up from my phone, "It says that the number has been disconnected."

"They probably lost service or something." Rian said as he grabbed a bottle of water, "Try calling Brendon and see what happens."

I dialed Brendon's number and the same thing happened. Hopefully Rian is right...

Hey guys! It's been such a long time, I'm so sorry! I've been organizing stuff for school and my classes are complicated, plus my Persuasive Arts teacher is a bitch -.- but I'm not sure how often I'll be able to update. I'll try to update as much as I can, I haven't forgotten about this! And I'm sorry that this chapter is really short, but I have more stuff in mind ;)
