Pedri POV
After dropping off Gavi at his house after the party, I drove home and got ready for bed. I took a quick shower and threw on some shorts before going to my room. I was scrolling through instagram and saw that Gavi had posted a story with Delaney in it. I clicked on her username and went to her profile. I realized I hadn't followed her, so I hit follow.
I was going to send her a message when I realized she had messaged me before.

I blushed and smiled.  I didn't realize she watched the games.

3 months later

Delaney POV
I was already heading out the door this morning and it was only 5am. I was so tired, but had practice today. Lena and I had both made it on the team we tried out for. We were playing for a random Sunday league Futbol team, but the tournaments ended with a big prize so we were all focused on taking it seriously. It was already toward the end, and our next game was the semi-finals, so it determined if we went to the final.

I drove off to pick up Lena to head to the field.

When we finally got there we started practice, which lasted about an hour. Our game was coming up in a few days, and we all felt ready.

"I can't believe we're actually playing together like old times" Lena said as we walked back to my car
"I know, so nostalgic" I replied
"Well everyone better watch out because this duo cannot be stopped" she said as we high fived. We both laughed and drove off. We were going out to grab some lunch before I dropped her off at home.

We pulled up to a small restaurant that was nearby. We ordered our food and waited for it to be ready.
"No way, I swear he follows you around everywhere" Lena said as she turned towards the door.
I turned around and saw Gavi and Ferran walking in.

"Hey Nani" Gavi said smiling and running up to me. He placed his arm around my shoulder.
"Hello Pablo" I rolled my eyes
"Wow, so you're mad at me?" He asked
"No I just like to call you by your first name sometimes" I laughed and playfully slapped his face
"I see Ferran is still ignoring me" I rolled my eyes
"You know him, his girlfriend gets weird" Gavi whispered
I smiled. "She has nothing to worry about, he's not who I want"
"You're the one who doesn't want to make your move" Gavi said laughing
"He's the one who doesn't like me" I replied back
"Who are we talking about?" Lena said confused
"Pedri, duh" Gavi said smirking

I walked away to the counter as they called my name. Ferran stood there waiting for his order.
"Hey Ferran, I see you're still ignoring me" I said as I looked at him annoyed
"Don't start" he said sighing
"I just wanted to say, tell your girlfriend that she has nothing to worry about. You're not the one I want anyway" I said as I began to walk away
"Delaney, I'm sorry. She just has to get used to you. And what do you mean by that?" He said smiling
"Doesn't matter" I rolled my eyes
"Ooh who's the lucky guy? Gavi?" He laughed
"No, I said it doesn't matter. It'll never happen anyway" I said pulling my arm and walking away

He stood there confused as I walked back to where Lena and Gavi were.
"Woah physical contact, hopefully his girl doesn't see"'Lena said and Gavi high fived her as they laughed

"Anyways...we should get going Lena. I need a shower" I said laughing
"Let me just use the bathroom quickly, I'll be back" she said walking away

"So, want to hang out later today? I feel like going out" Gavi said sighing
"Sure, that sounds fine with me. I'll pick you up?" I giggled
"I already got my license, but sure you drive" Gavi said playfully smacking me.
"Kk" I smiled
