the same day. Gavi POV I knew I couldn't wait any longer to ask her out. I still wanted it to be special, but it was hard since I wasn't too familiar with Madrid. I texted Joao to help me choose a restaurant that was fancy, and I made reservations online while Delaney cooked us breakfast.
"Breakfast is served" she smiled setting the plates on the counter "Be right there" I replied. I had bought a ring yesterday afternoon, a promise ring. That I planned to give to Delaney when I asked her. At this point I didn't care what anyone thought, she was going to be my girlfriend and that was final.
I got up and walked to the counter. "Smells amazing" I smiled beginning to eat. "Hmm what should we watch?" She asked turning the tv on "The flash!" We said in sync laughing. "Aw you never started the next episode without me" I blushed kissing her cheek "Of course not" she smiled back.

It was now close to dinner time. We had spent all day in the apartment since it was raining. It didn't matter though no matter what we did it was always a great time. "I have a surprise for you, but I need you to go get ready and wear a nice dress" I said to her. "Ooh yay, I love surprises" she smiled. I got up to go shower in the guest room and changed into my outfit as well. When I was ready I walked back out into the living room and waited for her.
Delaney POV I got quickly changed into a nice outfit. Gavi always had the best surprises and I was so excited. I walked back out into the living room and saw him waiting for me.

"Que lindo" I said walking over and kissing his cheek. He blushed, "you look amazing princesa" he said grabbing my hand and spinning me.

I chose a simple dress, since it's all I had at the moment.
"Ready to head out?" He asked holding his hand out. I nodded and we walked out holding hands.
Thankfully, it had stopped raining by now, we waited for our Uber and got in when he arrived.
We drove 10 minutes away to a small restaurant that was crowded with people. I was too happy to care if anyone had noticed us.
