the next day
Gavi POV
I woke up early today so I could have time to go on my run. The champions league final was next weekend and I was doing everything in my power to be prepared. The sun hadn't even risen when I got up. I put on some sweatpants a hoodie and quietly walked out of the room.

I grabbed a banana while going to check on Mateo to make sure he was okay. He was sound asleep.

I ate my banana before filling my water bottle and grabbing my phone. I walked outside and felt as the cold breeze hit me, before starting my run.

I got back home and got into the shower. Delaney and I had ended up planning to just go to the beach house. We were going to spend the day there, and then invite friends over for a party to end the night.

I got dressed and walked over to wake Delaney.
"Buenos días princesa" I whispered kissing her cheek.
"Buenos días" she yawned smiling. She kissed my lips as she sat up.
"Ready for today?" I smirked
"I'm so ready. I love being a mom but I need a break" she laughed
"You deserve it" I replied.

Delaney POV
I got up and got into the shower to get ready. Gavi went to make a quick breakfast while I got ready.
I packed Mateos diaper bag since he would be staying with my parents.

I walked back out into the kitchen and saw Gavi serving us cereal.
"Wow i thought I would be eating a real breakfast" I joked. He laughed and shook his head.

I placed Mateos bag near the door, and walked over to Gavi to eat quickly. We both began to text our friends about the party later tonight.

Once we finished breakfast, I walked over to wake Mateo so I could feed him. He had the smallest yawn which melted my heart. I picked him up and went ahead and changed his diaper and changed his clothes.

I walked over to the living room and began to feed him. Gavi loaded the car while I sat in the living room waiting for Mateo to finish.

Nothing much. Just wanted to see if you and Gavi wanted to hang out later. I'm in Barcelona for the day with my girlfriend and just wanted to meet up with you guys.

Ah cool cool :) well actually we're having a party later tonight at my parents beach house. You are both welcome to come :)

Great! We'll see you then.

I set my phone down as Mateo finished up.
"You're a quick eater" I smiled as I got him up to burp him.

When we were all done, I put Mateo into his car seat and grabbed my things. Gavi loaded the seat into the car, we got in, and drove to my parents house first.

We got there and Gavi carried the seat up to the front door. I knocked and was greeted by Douglas like usual.
"Buenos dias!!" I smiled hugging him
"Buenos días miss, I don't know how you're always so full of energy" he laughed hugging me back.
"It's nice to see you too" I replied laughing

Gavi shook his hand as he let us pass by. My mom was already in the living room watching tv.
"Buenos dias mami" I said hugging her
"Buenos días" she replied
Gavi walked over and kissed her cheek and placed Mateo down.

"How's my beautiful grandson" my mom said slowly uncovering the blanket. Mateo gave a smile as he opened his eyes wide.
"I'm so glad you guys are letting us watching him. We're so excited" she said looking up at us.
"Well thank you for watching him, I needed a small break" I replied
"Yes we appreciate it" Gavi smiled
