chapter 51

a few weeks later.

Today was going to be the happiest day of my life. Today is the day I will become Mrs. Gaveira. I never imagined I would find myself in this position. I can't help but reminisce on everything Gavi and I have gone through.

"Buenos días amor" I wake up and turn around to Pablo's arms around my waist. He smiles and leans in for a kiss. I blush and smile back. This will never get papiold.

"Buenos días Pablo" I say as I run my hands through his hair.

"Today is the day. I can't believe it" he smiles.
"I know, me too. Me voy a casar con mi príncipe" I rub his cheek and place a kiss on his soft, plump lips.

We lay in each others arms for a while longer before we hear Mateo whining on the bag monitor. We both get up and walk over to his bedroom. Mateo immediately smiles and calms down as soon as he sees us.
"Papi!" He says putting his hands out of the crib.
"Buenos días campeón" Gavi picks him up and kisses his cheek. Mateo puts his hand out so I can get closer to them. He pulls us into a hug, causing us both to laugh.
"Ayy que lindo Mateo" I say.

"Today is a big day Mateo, let's go get breakfast ready before everyone comes over" I say as I grab a diaper from the cabinet. Gavi sets him down so we can change his diaper, and we walk out of Mateos room.

Everyone planned to come over for breakfast this morning. By everyone I mean both our main family, and our closest friends, pedri, sira and Ferran. After breakfast everyone would leave to get ready. Ferran and Pedri would take Gavi to pedris house to get ready. And sira was staying to help me get ready.

Gavi and I had ordered some takeout breakfast to be delivered this morning. So all we had to do was set up the table. We made sure everyone had a chair and began to put out the plates. The food arrived and all we had to do was wait for everyone else.

The doorbell rings and I head over to open it. Gavis parents smile as they walk in with aurora. They all hug me, Gavis mother holds on to me tight in the end.

"I'm so happy you're going to be part of our family" she smiles.
"Muchas gracias, Los quiero" I smile back. They head over to greet Gavi and Mateo as well.

Next to arrive our my parents and brothers. Martin and Lucas run to me and hug me right away.
"Los extraño tanto" I say kissing their cheeks.

Everyone begins to take a seat as the last few guests arrive. Mateo is so happy to see everyone as he walks around go each person. As soon as Pedri walks in he runs up to him.
"Papa!"
"Buenos días Mateo" pedri picks him up and kisses his cheek. Causing mateo to smile and kiss him back.

"It's your big day, I'm so happy for you two" pedri says as he walks up to me. He gives me a hug and smiles.
"Gracias Pedro. That means a lot to me, you know that" I reply.
"I'm just happy we can all get along, happy for my two best friends, and that mateo is happy" he nods.

He takes a seat with mateo in his lap as we place the food in the center of the table.

"Before we eat, I just wanted to thank all of you for coming over. There's not a more perfect way of starting the happiest day of our lives without you all. You are the most special people in both of our lives" I say as I am stood up. Everyone smiles and Gavi nods.
"She's right. I love you all. And I'm so happy you're all here today" he says. Everyone lightly claps as we take our seats, and begin to eat.

Once we're finished up, everyone helps us begin to clean up. Well everyone except Martin and Lucas. They're too busy playing with Mateo in his room.
