Gavi POV We were at the Barcelona training field today, we were going to play Atlético Madrid tomorrow. Practice had just begun so we were stretching.
"So who do you think Delaney is supporting tomorrow?" Eric Garcia said to Pedri, Ferran, and I "What do you mean?" I laughed "Well I saw her out at lunch with Joao Felix a few days ago" he replied "Oh yeah I saw that too" Ansu Fati said coming into the conversation I looked over at Pedri who looked annoyed. I shrugged, "I didn't know. But obviously she's supporting us" I smiled "Well, I saw someone post a picture of them so I was curious if they were going out" Eric replied "They're not." Pedri replied annoyed. "Well we never know" Eric said "Im telling you they're not, it's because there not" pedri said now getting mad "Okay, im just gonna walk away before you attack me. It's just a question" Eric laughed jogging away
"Just ask her out already" Ferran said laughing "What?" Pedri replied "We all know you like her. Just ask her already" Ansu said laughing as well. I nodded my head. "Whatever" pedri said blushing and looking away "Okay, how about a deal. If i make a goal tomorrow before halftime ends, then you have to ask her out " ferran said smiling "That's crazy" pedri replied now smiling "Just say yes" I said smacking him "Fine fine. I'll do it" Pedri replied We all cheered and clapped. Although I loved the things Delaney and I did, I know she deserves to be happy. And I also know pedri does too. They're both great for each other. I hope in the end they're together. My two best friends being together is the only think I ask for.

Practice was finally over and we were going to head over for a team lunch. We walked back inside and got changed out of our training clothes.
"You have some guts saying yes" I laughed as I put my shirt on "What do you mean?" Pedri smiled "Ferran is obviously going to score tomorrow" I replied "I'm sure he will, but not in the first half, I doubt it" "Wow you don't have faith in your teammate?" I laughed "I do but I don't know" "Either way I'm going to keep passing him the hall until he scores" Pedri laughed and walked away into the cafeteria where we would be eating.

The next day
Delaney POV Today was the big day, the Barca vs Atlético Madrid game. I was so excited to go and support the guys, obviously I was rooting for them. Joao had gone back to Madrid but was now coming back for the game. Lena was still trying to get us to be together, but obviously I wasn't interested. We had gotten to know each other a lot more but I still couldn't see myself with him.
I took a shower and quickly got dressed. It was cold this morning so I threw in a hoodie, some jeans, and my beanie. I walked downstairs to drink some coffee and I grabbed some sweet bread to eat on the way to the stadium. On a day like this traffic was going to be crazy, so I wanted to be there early. Lena was going too, but joao had given her a ride there, so we were just going to meet up.
I finished eating my bread once I was parked, and got out to head through security. I got through and walked over to the section where my seat was. I finally got to my row and saw Lena sitting there.
"Finally!" She said getting up to hug me "Traffic was terrible" I sighed "And I see you're supporting the enemy" I joked as I pointed out her atlético Jersey. "It was free, joao gave it to me" she shrugged "Take a picture of me for insta?" I said handing her my phone as I posed.
