Korra and I didn't have any luck at the library.  As soon as we got to Air Temple Island, Tenzin was there waiting.

My hopes grew as we neared him.

He was holding a brown journal in his hand. A journal that could answer a lot of the questions I have.

"Hey, Tenzin! Did you find anything in Aang's old journals?" I ask swinging my arms behind my back like a child waiting for a piece of delicious candy.

"I did in fact find something in his journal. It isn't a lot, but hopefully, it will help you get started."

I carefully grab the journal and flip to the first page. Digging my nose deep in the words and ignoring the outside world.

I could sense the footsteps behind me follow quiet and cautiously, letting me have the space I need with these answers.

I flip a couple of more pages before I get to where I want to be.

The Ditava

"  It was after the fire nation attacked the Northern Water tribe, when I first came across a Ditava. There was some kind of deep spiritual connection that I had with her, one that I couldn't explain. I didn't know a lot about her, but all I knew was that she was as just as powerful as me and that she had red hair."

As powerful as the Avatar? That is impossible! There is no way that I am just as powerful as Korra.

" She used the elements fire and earth, she was an amazing bender. I remember trying to search for more people like her, but it looks like the fire nation had been snuffing them out like the airbenders. You could easily find a Ditava, just by looking for the hair. Very distinct. Benders around the world had been casually changing their hair color to red, making it hard to identify a real Ditava based on appearance alone. "

Well that's great, apparently the red hair is a big target on my back... just great.

" That wasn't the biggest issue though, Ditavas were seen as big threats. Most were locked up by the fire nation, killed, or disappeared from society all together. I truly think that Azlyn may be the last of the Ditavas. I'll do what I can to help her find her kind. She had nothing before joining us, her family came from the earth nation but her father was a powerful firebender. That is all I know from what she told me. I feel like she is hiding something else, but I really don't want to push it..."

What in the

Who is is Azlyn, and why haven't I  heard of her before? If she travelled with Aang way back when, then she should be in all of the stories. Maybe she is still alive?

This is definitely a lead. I need to know more about the past to be prepared for the future. My guess is that Amon wants to eradicate the last of Ditavas to bring hope to the equalists. Close enough to taking down the Avatar and looks really good on resumes for taking over the world of benders...

I continue walking to my room while digging my nose deeper in the pages of answers. My research comes to an erupt stop when Meelo comes barging in my bedroom.

"Ari, it looks like you got a telegram" Meelo announcing with a shit eating grin on his face. Ari is his nickname for me.

"Who is it from Meelo?" I demand, hating the suspense he is leaving me in.

He large airbender eyes look down at the piece of paper in hand.

" Whoa, this is from Sato... like SatoMobiles".

"That must be from Asami! That must mean she is back from her business trip with her father!"

I hastily snatch the letter with excitement flowing through my veins. I waste no time opening it.
