Chapter 12: The Spirit Of Competition Part: 4

I watch as Mako hugs Bolin before he screeches and grabs his shoulder, making me release a small giggle.

"Shoulder! Shoulder"

 "Sorry.Bolin" Mako lets go and Bolin rubs his shoulder. We make eye contact and Bolin's smile falls a little.

I rush to him and throw my arms around his neck, careful not to hurt his shoulder. 

"Bo you did great and I need to tell you nothing is going on between Tahno and I. I sweear I never wanted to be with and I hated they way he kissed me infront  of you."

I let go and look at him with tears in my eyes.

"Bo, I'm sorry you had to see that. I like you and I never wanted to hurt you like that. It killed me staying away from you."

Bolin's eyes grew big and his smile appears on his face again.

"Sakari, it's okay. You don't need to apologize for something that was out of your control. Tahno is a big jerk and you didn't deserve to be put in that situation. I'm sorry for assuming the worst and avoiding you, I should have just talked to you. I was just scared because I like you too."

He takes his uninjured hand and wipes the tears falling from my face.

He then wraps it around me and pulls me closer to him, something that feels right.

The touch feels so right

so warm

so comfortable 

So unlike what I felt when Tahno hugged me, I felt disgust, pain, and comfortless.

My cheeks heat up as I lean into his embrace, I look up at him and he looks down at me.

In this moment I don't even care if I am soaking wet from when he fell in the drink, I just want to be held by him.

"ahem"

Bolin and I step away from each other rather quickly and rub our heads in embarrassment as we turn to face the unimpressed Mako standing with his arms crossed.

I roll my eyes and cross my arms to mirror and mock the Firebender before me. It doesn't take long for him to give in with a smirk and uncrosses his arms.

"Thanks for not giving up on us. We never would have made it this far without you. I owe you. Big time. You both, we definitely wouldn't have gotten far without such an amazing Waterbender and an amazing Coach."

"And don't you forget it!" I say confidently as I smile back at him, making Bolin release a laugh behind me.

"You're welcome. So ... I know things are confusing right now, but I hope we can still be friends."

Korra accepts the compliment and now she is trying to makeup first, good job Korra.

"Definitely." Mako says while giving her a fist bump.

Smiles and good energy filled the room. The team has gotten back together, and everything is right in the world except a couple of things, but I'll deal with them later and live in this moment.

Our Celebration did last long as we heard foot steps walk into the locker room.

"Ooh, oof. You boys smell something in here? Wait, I know what that is; yeah, that's the scent of losers. With a little hint of sidechick, Hello Sakari"

Tahno greets as he walks up to me and stands less than a foot away.

"Screw off, Tahno."I say while backing away towards Bolin.
