"Kix, we have 9 minutes until we have to leave," Anakin said from above. Kix only nodded, working with Sev to wrap Comet's wound. The two gave Scorch the go ahead to pick the young clone up and together they walked down the corridor heading for the exit. Kix groaned, feeling a wave of nausea. Boss was quick to wrap an arm around the younger medic and get him to focus on something else.

"You alright?" Boss whispered. "Light-headed," Kix admitted. Boss only nodded, helping the medic who seemed exhausted on the outside as much as he was on the inside. Instantly the 501st were beside the medic pulling him in Cody's direction. Kix fought off their hands as he had the 104st to help first. Anakin watched smugly as Kix injected each member including Plo Koon and Wolffe with the vials. Fixer and Sev helped him out after he showed them what to do.

Shaking his head, Kix climbed to his own feet and after receiving a nod from Anakin. He walked over to Cody and settled in front of the Commander who had passed out. Kix sighed to himself, biting his lip as he assessed the commander.

Cody was pale and shaking. It didn't help that the 501st were leaning over him. Kix gasped when his scanner pinged. Cody hadn't informed them of a recent injury from a droid.

Muttering to himself Kix managed to get Cody's arm armour off and found the blaster wound. Obi-wan frowned, why hadn't he picked up on Cody's injury. He glared downwards but more precisely at the medic who ignored him. Anakin frowned as he greeted the backup which had landed. The rest of the 104st were here. Master Plo Koon was just waking up and leaning over Wolffe like a concerned father, the pack leader still out of it. After wrapping Cody's wound, Kix wandered off to where Delta stood; the squad had been watching him ever since Boss helped him out of the building. The squad had taken quite an interest in the medic of the 501st who reminded them of a small group of experimental clones they had run into back on Kamino.

Anakin watched his medic go. He was very concerned for Kix's health especially since Kix shared his secret with him. While Kix walked past other clones he heard the whispers. The ones he wished would leave him alone, the ones that he was starting to act upon.

"He's that medic that allows his brothers to die"

"Disgusting"

"What's so special about him?"

"Brother killer"

"Separatist Scum!"

"I wish he wasn't part of the 501st maybe our brothers would still be alive"

"Separatist Pet!"

"Useless he is"

"why does General Skywalker keep him around"

"Brother killers should be killed"

Kix was used to hearing the odd snide comment from fellow clones in the medical bay or onboard the ships. But, he wasn't aware of how much they affected him. It seemed words hurt more than life itself did. He continued on his way to help the clones, some flinched away from him while others allowed his help but still cursed him out. His thoughts spun as did his head, he just felt like he was breaking slowly. Almost like pieces were falling apart.

"Hey! You okay?" A concerned voice appeared beside him, looking up from where he was packing his medical equipment. Sev from Delta Squad was looking down at him in concern. Kix wanted to lie, he really did and it must have shown in his body language because the next thing he knew he was being wrapped up in a hug by not only Sev but by Scorch as well. Fixer watched with a tight gaze from beside their shuttle.
