Elsewhere…

He had managed to get at least four hours of sleep as he walked around the facility, it would seem he was having a little fighter who wouldn't stop violently kicking his stomach. Crosshair grimaced, ignoring the wave of nausea, his knife gripped tightly in his hand. He had left his rifle in the room with the rest of the guns as he watched the sun of the planet slowly peak over the mountains in the distance.

A wave of nausea made him groan, he was so tired but the unborn child wouldn't let him sleep. He grimaced when a pain spread through his eyes, it seemed even they were affected.

"Morning, can't sleep?"

He whipped around to see none other than a shimmering figure. He froze as it took a step forward. Taking a step back, Crosshairs body hit the edge of the wall.

"Don't worry child, I will not harm you"

Crosshair only raised an eyebrow at the glowing figure who stepped forward.

"Tell Cody, his time is almost up. Casper is safe for now but you are next"

"Crosshair! Duck!"

Kix's voice had him turning to see the medic aiming for the figure who vanished when the bullet hit it.

"Are you alright?" Kix asked, Crosshair nodded explaining what had happened. The medic nodded holding his brother close when Crosshair slumped on him.

"What's wrong?" Kix asked once he got all the details.

"Kid, won't let me sleep" Crosshair blinked as he spoke showing how exhausted he was. Kix nodded, "Come with me, I've got something that will help".

Together the two walked off towards the room where Kix had left Delta Squad, Boss and Jesse looked up at the two's approach, their concerned looks were waved off by Kix who grabbed his bag. Crosshair lurked in the doorway, pain visibly on his features.

Picking up a small object, he gestured for Crosshair to follow him to a more quiet room. The two passed Fox and Hound who nodded at them, Kix entered another room which was like a lounge space. Taking a seat on a sofa, Kix gestured for Crosshair to lie down. The marksman was so exhausted that he didn't fight, finding a tablet placed in his mouth.

"Let it fizzle, it's a calming tablet, totally safe for you and your child. Get some sleep, I've got watch" Kix whispered, Crosshair nodded, placing his head in the older marksman's lap. Kix understood, Crosshair was unconsciously worrying about having no lookout, so Kix understood why his brother was restless. Meaning the unborn child thought it was time to be a pain because its mother was stressed.

A few hours passed, Kix remained awake running his hands through the silver hair which had bits of blond at the tips. They all did, each brother had blond in their hair, it was to do with their mother's genes.

"He alright?" Cody's voice startled him, Kix looked up and nodded.

"Kid wouldn't settle, I found him in the viewing room where a dark force came to him, trying to get inside his mind" Kix explained, his bluntness had Cody very concerned. The commander walked over sitting opposite them, he sat back on the sofa.

"Does Kenobi know you snuck out?" Kix teased, continuing to run his hands through Crosshairs soft hair.

"Yes, I said I was going on a walk. He didn't mind"

"Your a terrible liar Cody"

"Fine, he doesn't, I just got an urge of a feeling to find you two" Cody said, worry laced in his tone.
