It didn’t take long for both ships to arrive back on Serenno and it was only then that the brothers realised the pure divide in them all. For instance, Crosshair was wrapped up with his batch, all of them watching him with nothing but love while Angel giggled in the arms of her mother. While Kix had the whole of Delta Squad, Jesse, Grey and Dove, all of them keeping sharp eyes on their medic. However, Cody stood off to the side with Orion tucked into his chest, his son silent as ever while Mace, Yoda, Shaak, Quinlan, Obi-wan, Padme, Anakin, Ahsoka, Rex, Hardcase and Fives stood in one group, well Fives was in between Rex and the batch. On the left was Cad Bane who watched the exchange with sharp eyes, his stance showing he was on the defence. 

“You made it back!” 

Those four words were said in such a soft tone, all attention turned towards the doors of the famous palace which was still a bit destroyed from the past Empire attack.

“Mother?” 

Kix’s tone was spoken in such an unfamiliar, disbelieved tone. The woman in front of them had golden blond hair with three strands of colour which were orange, blue and purple. She smiled at them all, beside her stood Dooku, the man looked fine except that he now had a bandage on his arm. 

“My sons” 

Kix and Crosshair shared a look, both of them letting go of their family members. Angel now in Hunter’s arms, as the two basically jogged over to the woman who gently reached for their faces and shared a memory with them but not just any, nope their birth memories. 

“It’s been a while Casper, Alastor. I have missed you so much” she whispered, Kix nodded his form changing revealing his true self. His orange eyes flashing. Crosshair was a bit weary until his mind caught up and he allowed the woman to pull him into a hug, Kix allowed the same. 

The batch and others could only watch on with proud smiles while a certain commander wasn’t showing any emotion as he held his son tightly to his chest in a makeshift sling. Dooku looked up from where he had been watching to see his oldest’s expression when he suddenly noticed the way Obi-wan and Quinlan stood beside one another. His eyes narrowed in warning especially when the two held hands behind Anakin who didn’t even realise that Dooku was staring neither did he see Cody’s look, the marshall commander was heartbroken on the inside only sending him more into a dark spiral which he made sure to keep to himself for now. 

“We’ve missed you too” Kix whispered back, he pulled away turning to face his older brother but then frowned when he took notice of the way Cody stood and stared into the distance. Crosshair had got uncomfortable and headed back for the batch who eagerly pulled him in. Wrecker wrapped him up rubbing his back while Jesse moved closer with Dove, both of them coming up on Kix’s sides. 

“Jesse, Dove. Meet my mother uh…” Kix’s mind went blank for a moment as he couldn't exactly remember his mother’s name, thankfully someone came to his rescue.

“Edira Serenity Janson” 

Kix smiled, his mother kissed his cheek knowing he had just remembered. 

“Nice to meet you, I’m…Kix’s partner and this is our daughter” Jesse introduced them, Kix grinned kissing Jesse’s cheek while watching his mother interact with his daughter. During this exchange, Dooku made his way over to his eldest who was remaining silent and staring at the view.

“So, your plan didn’t exactly go in the right direction did it, father” 

Dooku shook his head at Cody’s half snarl through their own language. He sighed, knowing this was happening now or it would never happen. 

“Orion, I am…

“It’s Cody or Kobi, take your pick” 

Dooku rolled his eyes at his son who crossed his arms over his chest protecting his own son who slept through his mother’s anger.
