Elsewhere…

Fields of golden flowers, emerald trees and a small stream was an eyeopener to those who weren’t familiar with the spirit realm. Although only a few stood around being able to see it, this was an opportunity not given to others.

“Where are we?” Dove asked, she held tightly to Kix’s hand, her dad keeping her close, as Jesse did the same on his other side. Boss wasn’t in person but Kix could feel his welcomed presence from the absent touch on his left shoulder.

“This is the field of the stars” Althea answered, her tone almost in a harmony as she blinked down to the one in her lap. Cody, who was being given a few petals to eat and was confused until he felt his spirit gaining strength. Little Orion was giggling looking around at the clouds above them, fluffy and white. At barely eight months old, Orion reached for the above. Althea smiled watching the innocent child who snuggled closer into Cody’s chest. Across from them was Koragg who kneeled behind Tech, the engineer holding tightly to Crosshair who remained asleep in the arms of his best-friend, lover. Angel was in his arms, while the presences of Echo, Hunter and Wrecker could be felt and not seen.

“It’s beautiful” Dove whispered, Althea nodded, her own face in a peaceful expression. Atlas remained impassive while Koragg laughed at the shocked facial expression of Jesse, the lieutenant not hiding it especially when someone from the past appeared in all of their visions. None other than Jango Fett, who remained with his arms crossed looking annoyed. But his expression changed when he whispered one word that became a soft spot for a certain ‘clone’.

“Kote?” Jango’s soft tone had Althea looking up, she gestured for Jango to kneel beside her which he did, Cody barely blinked feeling the pain slowly ease. The man in front of him was the first one apart from his batchmates to show him love and compassion. Jango smiled, kissing his hairline, almost sealing what the celestials wanted. An anchor for each brother.

Atlas cleared his throat catching all attention, “Kobi, Casper and Alastor have made an agreement on one thing they have decided to lose for not only all of them to return but to forbid their celestials from passing any powers to their offspring. This will then enable them to protect who they want and their powers will disappear from their families for good to ensure all are healthy, safe and loved in the future but there are a few consequences that each brother has covered” his words were formal and warm. Jango tightened his grip on Cody, he knew one thing, Cody was one of the best individuals to grow into his word, he loved Cody like a son.

Jesse knew one thing Kix was warmer against him meaning he no longer had the cold feeling surrounding his body. He wasn’t the only one grateful, Dove had the same thought as she felt Kix tighten his grip on the two of them. Cody was now fully in the lap of Jango, Kix’s foot connected with his older brothers while both their eyes searched for their youngest brothers. Crosshair remained in a ‘sleep’, Tech held him close with worry in his features.

“Now each brother did make an agreement for the order of them to be healed and to return to the mortal realm. Each brother must accept what I am about to do” Atlas moved to kneel down in front of Cody while he left his cloak around Kix’s shoulders to keep the connection. “Kobi Orion Janson, do you swear to the celestials that the promise you made is to be kept until the day you die?” Atlas, lifted Cody’s chin, the marshal commander had passed his son to Althea who held Orion while Cody allowed his yellow eyes to turn golden as he spoke, “I swear on the life of my only son” Cody’s words had the all father. “Now sworn, I take the ability from you to produce any offspring in the promise of the celestials that your brothers are to keep their own. Hold still in your first fathers arms as this may hurt” Atlas warned. Kix was in utter shock, he had no idea that Cody had sacrificed something that meant so much to the brothers.
