The Memory…

"Casper! Can't catch me!"

Turning his head Kix was in shock seeing a tiny blond/silver tipped six year old running away from a young boy who could barely be a young teenager. It took him a minute to pick up on that he was that young boy, which meant Casper was 13. Given the seven years between him and Alastor.

"Alastor, be careful" A soft tone had him turning to see a young woman walking over to them, she had beautiful blond hair, it was so light that it sparkled in the sunlight. She wore a one-piece blue outfit. Her skin pale while her emerald eyes glowed in the sunlight.

"Casper, aren't you going to catch your brother?"

Kix watched as Casper ran off to grab his baby brother who giggled, an innocent giggle that had him smiling.

A noise startled Kix as a speeder came into view.

"Daddy!" Alastor ran for the speeder only to be scooped up by a young man.

"Cobey! Down" Alastor giggled when his older brother slung him under his arm.

"It's Kobi" The older teen tickled his brother as Casper tackled his older brother, the two brothers teamed up on them.

"I see I have not been missed"

Three heads snapped up in the direction of their father. Kobi could only smile, allowing his two brothers to run towards their father.

Kix froze seeing the 'look' of their father. 'no!' it couldn't be. He instantly recognised the planet as he turned to look around, a hand landed on his shoulder bringing him into a firm chest. Cody was here.

"Daddy! Of course you have!" Alastor cried out in laughter as his father, none other than Darth Tyranus. Kix watched as his younger self clung to Dooku with a smile. The older man chuckled, wrapping them up but something in his eyes was different. Kix watched the blue eyes flicker with hope, oh god this was way before the Jedi order incident.

It all made sense why they could feel the darkness, their father was part of the darkness. Cody grimaced holding Kix tighter to his side while watching a memory go bye. Their mother held them all close while Dooku laughed holding their youngest brother on his hip.

End of Memory…

"Kix! Cody! Snap out of it!" Anakin's yell had both brothers snapping their heads in the direction of the Jedi with two firm glares on their faces. Anakin took a step back at the intensity of the glares as Cody grabbed Kix's hand and stalked off into the distance. The two continued to walk until they sat against a tree, Cody held Kix close.

"Just why? Does our life have to be any more complicated?" Kix whined in his brother's arms, Cody could only shrug, rubbing a hand up and down the medics back. Kix slumped further into Cody who held him tightly.

"Why? Can't we eventually bloody relax, instead we find out that…"

"That your father was tricked and guided on the wrong path by those close to the light side?"

Cody and Kix snapped their attention towards the west, startling Obi-wan and Anakin, the two watching with curious eyes. There standing beside the brothers was a shimmering of light. The two Jedi watched ready to take action when Cody stood up, his eyes flickered yellow as did his hands, the commander in protective mode.

"Calm yourself child, I am not the enemy but what you do need to know is the darkness is on its way for the light sources. Protect your children before he finds them, all of them…"
