Two weeks had passed since the incident and they hadn't found or been able to contact Dove, Omega or any Jedi. Through the two weeks, Crosshair had caught a bug, he had a high fever and was on constant watch by the batch, Kix and Coric. The marksman mainly slept while being watched by the two medics as the others scouted the universe looking for their missing members.

"Kix, respond. We think we have something. Please can you answer your commlink"

Kix frowned from where he had been sleeping against Coric's shoulder, the elder medic keeping a strict eye on the marksman's vitals. With a sigh, he reached for his commlink.

"What is it?"

"Evening to you too. But on a serious note, Cody has located Dove, Omega and Orion. Something to do with his powers. Boss has asked if you will bring Delta-Fire to a planet called Sorgan. It's a peaceful planet, and it turns out Obi-wan has been laying low on it amongst other things. Are you able to get the ship moving or do I need to send the batch back to come and get you"

Kix shared a look with Coric who rolled his eyes, just because they were medics didn't mean they couldn't fly a bloody ship.

"Enroute Captain, Kix out" Kix cut Rex off fuming, Coric laid a hand on his shoulder as he sent a few words directly over to Boss who understood, the Delta Squad leader opting to have a word with the captain's choice of words. Kix climbed into the pilot seat of Delta-Fire, yes it was only he, Coric and Crosshair aboard but Kix urged that the others found his daughter leaving him to help the uncomfortable sick marksman.

Pushing the ship in the direction of this planet called Sorgan, he opted to do some research while he waited for time to pass. It would be a short flight or he hoped. Coric smirked at him, opting to get some sleep.

Two hours had passed quite quickly, Coric was awake and checking the controls while Kix went back towards the body of the ship only to smile. Crosshair was sitting up with a hand on his stomach, a soft smile on his face while he cursed his partners out.

"Having fun?" Kix whispered. Crosshair looked up in shock, "Not really, they will definitely pay for this. All of them" Crosshair muttered, half accepting Kix's hug, the medic laughed.

"I know what you're feeling, I cursed Jesse and the 501st for quite a while when I was pregnant but the difference between you and me. Is that you were injected with the rapid-ageing which means the baby is developing in the correct time frame and will age properly rather than what I had. I was only pregnant for five months before Dove decided she wanted out" Kix explained, kissing his forehead. Crosshair smiled, he was still new to showing emotion but for a good reason he felt safe around Kix to show it.

"What was the worst part?" Crosshair asked in a quiet voice. Kix smiled.

"The labour before the birth plus on top of that with my heart condition, it didn't help but I'm telling you something. All of this pain is worth it, trust me. I know you're doubting yourself and going through hormones but know that it's all worth it. You never know when life could kick you in the back and turn it upside down so keep going, hold your head high and tell them all to kark off when needed. You're not alone, I know you feel that way but you're not which is why I want to say one more thing and if I step over the edge hit me" Kix said with a smile. Crosshair only nodded, moving closer into the medic who held him tightly.

"I'm proud of you ad'ika, the darkness is not easy to fight but you have done it several times. Some I wish you didn't but I'm proud to be your brother, I just want to say I love you Alastor"

Crosshair looked up in shock hearing his name, his birth name had memories assaulting his mind. He looked at Kix with the softest smile he could make.
