Chapter 21

Meanwhile… 

Hunter couldn't help but pace the command room while the other batch members fiddled with things, the others could feel the anxiety coming from the batch. Obi-wan definitely could as he was worried for his own partner, his son was crying for his mother and the only one who managed to settle the child was Anakin who swayed with the baby. 

"Oh god, do you think they got eaten by a…" 

"Wrecker please do not say things like that, they were more than likely to get killed by a…" 

"Tech, Wrecker. Enough" Hunter interrupted their debate, not wanting to know what they were thinking. Echo could only grimace sharing a look with Jesse who had taken a seat to stop himself from pacing. Delta Squad on the other hand were snoozing in the corner having full trust in their two members who weren't in the room. Boss and Coric were the only two awake as they had slept earlier and instead were observing the room knowing Kix and Dove could handle themselves. Whether they were separated was the issue. 

"Obi-wan!" 

The Jedi master snapped his head up in the direction of the window. Ahsoka visibly jumped, Obi-wan knew it was the force messing with him but he couldn't help but worry for his partner. 

"Tech!" 

The bad batch flinched hearing Crosshairs cry, they went to get up when Obi-wan shook his head hearing the same cry. 

"Ignore it, it's the force playing games" Anakin spoke from beside Ahsoka who nodded, holding the baby boy who still needed a name.

"So, Obi-wan. What are you going to name him, we can't keep calling him baby Kenobi" Ahsoka said with a smile. Looking down at his son, Obi-wan froze not knowing what to call him. 

"I think it's best if Cody names him" 

"Chicken" 

"I am certainly not, I just don't want to get in the way of a mother's wrath" Obi-wan blushed a little as he called Cody a mother. His former padawan just smirked. Obi-wan took his son, rocking him slightly when a white light filled all of their visions. 

The next thing they all knew was the ceiling was above them all, Obi-wan gasped seeing his son had vanished. He sat up with a panic, the others in the room froze seeing the baby had vanished. 

"Ah, my head. What happened?" Wrecker groaned, helping Hunter to his feet before moving to help the unsteady Echo and Tech. 

"The prophecy of the brothers has been completed" Boss spoke up from where he was helping Delta Squad to their own feet. 

"What? But where did Baby Kenobi go?" Ahsoka exclaimed, looking for the kid. 

"I suspect with his mother" Coric answered, leaning into Boss who held him up. Obi-wan only glared softly trying to reach through the force for his son. He came up empty, he slumped in his seat hoping that Coric was right. Anakin and Ahsoka shared a look moving closer to comfort their friend while Rex, Jesse and Hardcase stuck together. Fox and Wolffe stood rigid in the corner beside a smirking Fives who had spotted something in the distance.

Thankfully none of them had to wait very long as the door to the side of the room opened as Omega and Dove appeared. The two were chatting and oblivious to the shocked group. 

"Omega!" Hunter kneeled down in front of her, pulling her into a hug. Omega froze but then hugged back knowing that she had worried them all. 

"Kid! Come here, you made me worry!" Wrecker exclaimed, Omega ran over to him only to be pulled into a hug while Tech and Echo fussed in their own ways over her. Omega couldn't help but smile which only widened as three missing brothers walked into the room.
