Chapter 18

Elsewhere…

"Get the HELL off him!" 

"I think not, dispose of the creature inside of him" 

"No! Let him go!" 

A hand came down slapping the said shouter, Obi-wan frowned looking up from where he was chained against a cell wall. Opposite him was Ahsoka who looked furious, they had been caught by accident. Their ship had been shot down and the two could only worry about one individual at the minute and that was. 

Commander Cody, who lay bloody on the floor, was chained to ground underneath Obi-wan's feet, the Jedi master concerned for his partner. Blood poured from his nose and mouth. 

Once the door slammed shut and Cody had been injected, only then did Obi-wan try and wake his unconscious partner. 

"Cody, hang on. We will get out of here" Obi-wan softly said, reaching for his head with his chained hand. Ahsoka was on the verge of breaking her chains when the doors slammed open revealing a very furious Anakin Skywalker. The anger radiating off him was slipping through the force in waves but it seemed to calm down as the young man took in the room. 

"Skyguy! Are we glad to see you, fancy getting us down?" Ahsoka said, she earned a smile as with two slashes the chains were gone. Obi-wan quickly dropped down to his knees placing both hands on Cody's head, he directed the force through his partner's body. Anakin kneels beside them helping heal Cody's body, the commander wasn't very responsive but seemed to be coming around. 

The two Jedi were halfway through healing Cody's body when the commander let out a soft groan. His eyes blinked open only to see three worried Jedi standing over him, a blinding headache hit him dead centre. 

"What…happ..nd?" Cody gasped out as Obi-wan healed his chest. Pain spread through his lower body, he whimpered confusing both Jedi until Obi-wan felt what his commander was feeling. Cody groaned when another wave of pain hit him. 

"Cody?" 

"I think…I'm…in labour" Cody gasped out, Anakin and Ahsoka shared a look, the younger of the two watching the door. 

"We need to get you out of here, with your permission. Can I send you into a forced sleep until we find somewhere safe?" Cody could only nod at Obi-wan's suggestion, the last thing he wanted to do was give birth to his child in the Empires facility. Cody bit his lip to prevent himself from crying out in pain until a calming sound filled his ears making him fall into a state of sleep. 

"We need to move, the longer he is under, the more I risk losing them both" Obi-wan urged scooping his partner up. He didn't even make a sound showing that it was working. 

"I'm hoping you have a plan?" 

"Kind of, I made it this far" Anakin said with a smile, Obi-wan could only glare at him while his padawan helped the youngest of them all sneak down the dark corridors. Unaware of the eyes watching from afar.

Together the three snuck through the corridors until they found a hangar of somesort. Anakin smiled seeing a shuttle nearby just sitting there.

"Master, this feels too easy" 

"You worry too much snips" 

Obi-wan could only frown looking at Cody who rested in his arms. Cody's face occasionally twisted as pain spread through his lower half. 

"Come on, trust me" Anakin said, running for the ship only to freeze in his tracks when several troopers and droids appeared out of nowhere aiming for the Jedi. Ahsoka could only facepalm from beside her master. Obi-wan glared as the doors to the room opened revealing a smiling Imperial officer.
