Picture of Jhonny >>>>>

My fingers tingled with anticipation as I sat by my keyboard. I adjusted the microphone and looked at the audience and smiled at them. I felt butterflies in my stomach as a bit of nerves settled in. I hit the first key and started singing.
Make everything so simple in a crazy world
And I'm trying to find the words to say
You make everything alright just by being around, boy
Mmm, you make me wanna sing
Mmm...
You're my light in the dark
Guiding, guiding me home
And your faith in me is all I need, baby
Your love, it sets me free
Mmm...
I need a little help, boy
I can't seem to breathe easy, no
Not when you're around, oh
Mmm...
Oh, oh you make me wanna sing
I said, oh
You make me, you make me yeah
Mmm...
I had my eyes closed the whole time I was singing. My long eyelashes were tickling my cheek slightly. I opened my eyes and looked at the audience again. I stood up and took a bow.
“Thank you, thank you,” I said to my audience of teddy bears and dolls. I always did this. I used them as my audience. I looked in the mirror and looked at my reflection. I had shoulder length, curly hair and olive toned skin just like my mother but she was beautiful and I was just average. I wished that one day I could like her but that didn’t look like it was happening. I sighed and grabbed my guitar case from the floor and left the house. I grabbed my brown leather jacket and headed to Jhonny’s house which is where I usually went when I was bored.
We all lived in close proximity with each other so it only took me five minutes to reach to his house. I walked through the front door, not bothering to knock and headed upstairs.
“Jhonny Thomas! Get your lazy butt downstairs!” I shouted while banging on his door. The door opened and revealed an irritated Jhonny, I smirked at him and he gave me a sleepy smile.
“What are you doing here?” he asked, looking at his watch. I shrugged and he shook his head. Both of us were used to this, in our group of friends we just showed up at each other’s houses without being invited or calling in advance. We even reached the point where we stopped knocking.
“I got bored so I came here,” I said. “Where’s Jade?” I asked, looking around.
“She went to the park with the others, but I wasn’t feeling like going,” he said, waving a dismissive hand.
“Well then, let’s go meet them,” I said. He sighed and grabbed his grey beanie from the hanger and a jacket and we made our way out the door. He decided it was better to walk. As we walked, we joked around, telling stories and reminiscing childhood.
I laughed and he wrapped his arms around my shoulders in a friendly manner. He shot me his famous half-grin as he launched into another story. We continued telling our stories until we reached the amusement park in the area.
I spotted the group sitting under a tree. It wasn’t hard to spot them as they were laughing loudly causing people to stare them.
“Hey, dudes and dudettes,” I said, taking a seat next to Harry, who was playing around on his phone. I messed up his short black hair to get his attention. He looked up at me and smiled.
“Hey, Shawna,” he said politely and went back to playing his game. Minzy rolled her eyes at her brother but didn’t say anything about it. Her black and blonde hair covered her eyes as she looked back down.
“What brings you here?” Jade asked, lying down in Harry’s lap. They had been together for about a year and going strong. Her wavy hair was spread across his lap. It reminded me of a fan, in a way.
“I got bored so I decided to go wake up Jhonny. He said you were here, so I forced him to come here too,” I said smugly. She chuckled and grabbed Harry’s phone out of his hand and put it in her back pocket. I guess she had a right to since he was being a bit anti-social. Everyone chuckled as they began bantering, again.
We stayed there for a while, just joking around, we didn’t even notice the sun going down. I pulled out my guitar and started playing a few chords lazily, even though I was just playing the guitar with no purpose I still felt the same thrill I got whenever I touched an instrument. I hadn’t even noticed when I started singing until everyone grinned at me.
And I'd give up forever to touch you
Cause I know that you feel me somehow
You're the closest to heaven that I'll ever be
And I don't want to go home right now
And all I can taste is this moment
And all I can breathe is your life
Cause sooner or later it's over
I just don't want to miss you tonight
And I don't want the world to see me
Cause I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am
And you can't fight the tears that ain't coming
Or the moment of truth in your lies
When everything seems like the movies
Yeah you bleed just to know you’re alive
And I don't want the world to see me
‘Cause I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am
I don't want the world to see me
‘Cause I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am
I just want you to know who I am
I just want you to know who I am
I just want you to know who I am
I just want you to know who I am
I looked up from the guitar, putting it down reluctantly and noticed Jhonny staring at me. I raised one eyebrow at him.
“What?” I asked, referring to why he was staring at me.
“Nothing,” he said, smirking. I shook my head and smiled at his cocky attitude.
“We’re heading out,” Junior said. Jhonny picked me up as if I weighed ten pounds and carried me to the car, following Junior. I don’t know when it happened but I had fallen into a deep sleep, a small smile still on my face.
