“So… Shonny, Jawna or Shawnny?” Jade asked. I rolled my eyes and groaned. We were sitting on the beach; we decided we needed a breather after everything that happened two days ago so we all came to the beach. Our parents were also out, they went horseback riding. Raine and Minzy giggled when Jade started joining me and Jhonny’s names. Thankfully the guys were trying their hands at surfing. Liam was teaching- well at least attempting to teach them how to surf but so far it was a fail.
“I like Jawna” I heard Jhonny’s voice from behind me. I jumped and spun around to face him, feeling embarrassed that he had to hear that.
“Go away” I told him, not wanting him to hear any more of this.
“Love you too” he muttered grumpily under his breath as he walked back to the guys who were still attempting to surf. I giggled and Jade and Minzy squealed, making me turn to face her with an annoyed look on my face. That actually hurt my eyes.
“You and Jhonny are OTP!” she squealed out. I cocked one eyebrow at her, I didn’t have any idea what she was saying so I simply nodded and turned my attention back to the guys just in time to see Mikael fall into the water again.
“You want to go help them?” Raine asked, with a mischievous glint in her eyes. We smirked at her and headed toward the boys who were sitting on their surfboards at the shore.
“You’re really good at surf boarding” I told Jhonny sarcastically. He looked up at me and smirked. I didn’t even see the fact that he was about to throw me over his shoulders coming. I kicked him and hit his back several times for him to let go but he simply threw me in the water. I saw Liam doing the same thing to Minzy and Harry doing the same thing to Jade and Tamani, my brothers and Raine simply ran in the water without hesitation. I glared at Jhonny when he splashed me.
“Hey!” I shouted and I put my hand on top his head and forced him under the water put he pulled me in. It was odd that we were staring at each other under water but it was funny at the same time. Jhonny made a funny face before resurfacing. I followed after him and I saw he was running back to shore. I chased after him and eventually launched myself at him making us both fall to the floor.
“What were you even trying to do?” he asked, getting up and trying to dust the sand off.
“Surprise you?” I said with an innocent smile. His gaze softened and he flashed me a heart stopping smile.
“It didn’t work” he pointed out raising his eyebrows.
“Maybe next time” I said with a shrug, dashing away from him. I felt him chasing after me which made me smirk. I turned back to wink at him before running into the water, knocking down Harry in the process.
“Sorry” I said sheepishly.
“It’s okay” he said in a weak voice. I had probably knocked the wind out of him. “Jade! Shawna knocked me down.” I glared at him for faking it. Jade just looked out way and shook her head at him before turning her attention back to Mikael who was teaching her how to swim since she didn’t know how to.
“I don’t like-GAH!” I started telling Harry but someone startled me by lifting me up from behind. I knew it was Jhonny without even looking. I still couldn’t believe we ended up together after all these years of being best friends. He was the last person I expected to end up with but that’s how it worked out and I wouldn’t have it any other way
