Btw I don’t do Biology but the subjects I do don’t require partners and I could scrape up some biology butI have absolutely no idea what goes on with Chem and Physics (no offense to Chem or Physics students).

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Heart Attack

No I don’t mean like cardiac arrest #HolyCardiacArrest

I mean the song

I ran through the halls as fast as I could. My calves burned and beads of sweat dotted my forehead as I pushed past people trying to reach to my Biology class. The biology lab finally came into sight and I sighed in relief and pushed the door open, only to reveal a very amused class and a not – so – amused teacher. I smiled sheepishly and grinned.

“So ...um hi” I said awkwardly, playing with the end of my summer dress.

“Good morning Ms Embry. Please have your seat” Ms Reed said, sounding frustrated. I smirked at her and took my seat between Raine and Jhonny. I tapped the back of Jhonny’s head making him flinch and gave Raine an awkward side hug.

“So I couldn’t just get a hug?” Jhonny asked sarcastically. He opened his arms out grinning and I scowled at him playfully.

“Put your hands down” I said, faking an annoyed tone. Raine nearly doubled over laughing and the teacher sent us a glare, making us laugh more but this time we tried hide it but that didn’t work since Jhonny almost fell over. The teacher gave him a stern look before continuing her lesson. I stared at the poster behind her in boredom. I really hated this subject. I sighed and shifted in my seat and looked over at Raine who mirrored my bored expression. I chuckled lightly as I zoned the teacher out. Her monotone voice wasn’t making the lesson any more interesting and neither was the fact that her pointy glasses and baggy clothes were distracting. And no offense to her but they were rather unflattering.

“Okay so get to it!” she said. I blinked in confusion; I really had zoned her out completely. She was actually handing out small plants and telescopes and a few other types of lab apparatus. At least her tone finally changed somewhat. I looked at Raine and raised one eyebrow and she shrugged. We both gave Jhonny sly glances and I secretly prayed he had been paying attention.

He smirked at us and pulled out his textbook. I cocked one eyebrow and he finally spoke.

“She was talking about plant cells” he said. “But I zoned out”

“At least in a few weeks we’ll be out of here so why is she even teaching us?” Raine said grumpily.  “We already did exams and everything and we all passed, well except Wendell” she said, jerking her head pointedly towards the guy in the corner who was asleep. Poor guy.

“Okay plant cells” Jhonny murmured, mostly to himself. He was completely oblivious to the conversation. I gave the teacher a grateful look when she wrote out instructions on the white board. Sadly, her handwriting was just a clumsy scrawl so I couldn’t read it properly.

“Large vacuoles, cell wall, and chloroplasts” he muttered.

“Um can we hear what the great mind of Jhonny is thinking?” I asked, I was only slightly annoyed with his muttering. It was like a pet peeve.

“Okay well, she basically wants us to use the telescope and look for cells” he said shrugging.

Oh well that sounds easy’ I thought to myself.

“And then we have to draw the structure of a leaf” he said, his voice sounding slightly detached now. I nodded and reached for the telescope. I adjusted the zoom and looked at the plant. I didn’t recognize anything I saw. I handed the telescope to Jhonny to see if he could interpret it. He shrugged and flashed me and Raine a smirk. He took his cell phone out and scrolled through. He smirked at something he saw causing me and Raine to exchange confused glances until e heard an alarm. A loud alarm.
