OUOTE OF TODAY: OMG cuz today was OMG

But you put on quite a show, really had me going

K just read

#sorrynotsorry for this, whatever it is idk I’m tired

“Okay class, today I want everyone to sing the song of their choice, playing the keyboard. Individually.” Mr Pinnock announced. A few students groaned while a few cheered. I rubbed my palms together nervously. I had never actually sung in front of anyone in my Music class except for a select few. They’ve heard me play instruments but never sing.

“I thought we were supposed to play the flute today?” a tiny girl asked in a shaky voice. I cast a pitiful look at her. She looked scared out of her wits.

“I know, but plans change. I know a few of you have some hidden talents” he said, giving me a pointed look. I pulled my beanie down a bit and shrunk back in my seat. I almost forgot about yesterday when he caught me singing in the auditorium. I chuckled nervously when everyone stared at me.

“So let’s begin!” he shouted, clapping his hands together loudly making everyone jump. “Ms Embry, you’re first”.

I swallowed loudly and made my way to the front of the class. I had no stage fright but singing in front of people who could possibly humiliate you was a different story. I noticed a group of girls snickering and staring at me. I turned around and angrily to look at them.

“Like what you see?” I asked cockily, gesturing to myself. When none of them responded I rolled my eyes in frustration and walked to the front of the class and sat at the keyboard. It was similar to the one I had home.

I took a few deep breaths and closed my eyes and started playing a few notes before singing.

It feels like we've been out at sea,

Oh, so back and forth that's how it seems,

And when I wanna talk you say to me,

That if it's meant to be it will be.

Whoa-oh-oh

So crazy is this thing we call love,

And now that we've got it we just can't give up

I'm reaching out for you,

Get me out here in the water and I.

I'm overboard

And I need your love to pull me up

I can't swim on my own

It's too much
