Okay so I started working on a spin off (the third and final part) of the Life As I Know It series (I guess that’s what people call it idk :/). I want to finish this book in July so as soon as this book finishes then I’ll move on to the other book one time. I already started writing it (Saving Carter). It’s very different considering it’s from a boy’s point of view and I’ll give away more about it at the end of the chapter. Read on.

“Leave me alone!” I cried out pleadingly. I glanced over my shoulder but he was still chasing me. I let out a blood curling scream and pushed my feet to move faster. I don’t know why he was chasing me but I’d been running around aimlessly for hours. I looked around, trying to figure out where I was but I didn’t know where I was.
“Shawna!” I jolted awake at the sound of my name being called. I looked up and I saw Lorenzo standing there actually looking worried. Which idiot let him in?
“What are you doing here?” I asked him, it was odd to find Lorenzo standing up in the hotel room, when I looked around, Minzy, Jade and Raine were still fast asleep.
“The bellhop let me in. He thinks I’m your cousin” he explained to me grinning when I didn’t return it, he cleared his throat and looked away from me awkwardly. The bruises on his face were still visible but I couldn’t bring myself to be sorry for what my brothers had done to him.
“Tamani and Raine are my cousins. You’re not” I snapped at him. “You better give me a good reason why you’re here in the next ten seconds or else I’m calling my brothers.”
“Shawna, just hear me out. I didn’t mean what I said to you the other night. I was drunk” he tried to explain. I simply rolled my eyes at his excuse. Did he think I was stupid? It was either he thought I was stupid or he was stupid. I’d go for the latter.
“People who are that drunk won’t remember what they said. Try a different excuse” I told him, standing up directly in front of him now, crossing my arms over my chest. I was already feeling a headache coming on.
“I love you?” he tried, giving me a smile. A few days ago I might have thought that smile was cute but now all it did was make me cringe. I could see behind his words and his good looks now. He was trying to play me and I wasn’t having that.
“Get out” I said, through gritted teeth. He raised his hands in surrender and stormed out the room. I let out a sigh of relief once he was gone. He was the last person I wanted to see at the moment. I decided that while I was up to get ready one time. After getting dressed I realized that I probably shouldn’t go for breakfast on my won. Smiling mischievously, I made my way to the boys’ room and slowly opened the door. All of the boys were still fast asleep too.
I tiptoed into the room and grabbed the water bottle from Jhonny’s bedside and carefully…poured it all over him. He screamed and fell off the bed which had me doubled over with laughter.
“Shawna!” he yelled, running a hand through his hair.
“Yes?” I asked, smiling at him innocently. “I need a breakfast buddy so I decided to wake you up” I said in an extra cheerful voice.
“Whatever” he mumbled and headed to the bathroom.
“Don’t worry about showering” I called after him, he turned back to glare at me and said a few words that weren’t worth repeating before he slammed the door to the bathroom.
Jhonny was never a morning person to begin with.
After Jhonny finally got ready, we made our way down the corridor of the hotel until I heard two familiar voices around the corner; I stopped Jhonny and kept myself hidden behind the wall. Jhonny tried to ask me what I was doing but I gestured for him to stay quiet and he just grumbled. He was still in his morning mood.
