I stared at Tracy wide eyed and he just continued to glare at me. I don’t know how long we were staring at each other until I felt Jhonny push me behind him.

“It’s good to finally see you up close. You look just like your mother” Tracy commented, taking a step closer to us. I tensed behind Jhonny who was just glaring at Tracy. “Except a little more naiive. Lorenzo, come in.”

My eyes widened even more when Lorenzo walked in looking unfazed from the shot yesterday.

“You-” I started but I didn’t know how to finish the sentence.

“Shut up” Lorenzo seethed, pointing his gun in Jhonny’s direction. “You ruined everything” he told Jhonny who looked just as confused as I felt. We all looked in Lorenzo’s direction as he said that. The atmosphere in the room was tense which was only expected considering the situation we were in.

“What do you mean?” I asked Lorenzo but instead of answering my question he shot Jhonny in the shoulder. I covered my ears at the loud bang but I knelt down to help Jhonny when he fell to the ground groaning in pain.

“Jhonny!” I yelled. I checked his pulse, he was alive just like Liam was alive but he was in a lot of pain. I looked up and glared at Lorenzo who was smirking at me, I was about to attack him but my brothers stopped me.

“Enough!  We’re supposed to be getting rid of them” Ms Jackson spoke up. I snapped my head in her direction and she was pointing her gun at Jhonny’s chest. That was not going to happen, I broke out of Mikael and Junior’s hard grips and tackled her to the ground punching her in the face and took the gun from her.

“Shawna. Go” Jhonny’s voice said weakly.

“I’m not leaving you here” I told him through gritted teeth.

“All of you go” he said in a weak voice.

“Jhonny-”  I started on the verge of tears but he interrupted me.

“Go” he said in a more forceful voice. He got up weakly and walked towards Tracy and Lorenzo and punched them both across the face and they started attacking him. I knew he was doing that as a distraction. I sent one last look at Jhonny as we headed out the door. Thankfully, the cars were still there.

“Junior, drive the van” I told him. “I’ll take the car.” He nodded and Harry and Tamani followed me to the car silently while the others followed Junior to the van. I looked back at the vineyard and I noticed Ms Jackson followed us out. I looked down at my hand and noticed the gun still in my hand. There was a car close enough to her. I sighed and aimed at the gas compartment of the car parked near her and shot it and the car burst into flames.

“Let’s go!” I told Tamani and Harry quickly. Junior and the others were staring at the car I had shot wide eyed. I was about to drive off until I saw the fire spread to the vineyard. My mouth went dry. Jhonny and Liam were in there. We got out the car and watched the vineyard which was in flames tensely. Tears were streaming down my face as I watched. I couldn’t lose Jhonny.

I was just about to break down when I saw two figures walking out. Jhonny and Liam had their arms wrapped around each other to support each other since they were both injured. I smiled and couldn’t help myself when I ran towards Jhonny and tackled him into a hug, making the both of us fall over. He chuckled weakly as he looked at me.

“I love you” I told him, I almost lost him just now, I knew I had to tell him. His face broke out into a huge grin as he looked at me.

“I love you too” he said, caressing my cheek. I smiled down at him as he took hold of my hand and we walked towards the cars. I had to support his weight since he was injured.
