Chapter 11: Kaito Tenjo meets Doofensmirtz

*Random jingle music* "Dr. Faker's Heartland Tooower." *Jingle end* "Master Kaito." "What is it Orbital? Aren't you supposed to be babysitting your children with Lillybot?" "Oh don't worry about that, Roboppi and Ai have that covered!" "Those two? I don't think that's a very wise idea." "I made sure to promise to pound them if they try anything funny with our kids!" "Fine. But what are you doing here? We're conducting research on other dimensions and a shard of Barian crystal left over from when our world was merged with Barian." "Master Kaito, I hate to be a bother but can I help you with your research? Lillybot is proving to other litterbots that Yuma stinks at dueling right now and it's going to be awhile until that's finished!" "Okay. I'm the only one doing research here today. The others are investigating Duel Links again. What a mysterious virtual world that place is. Who made it and why does it connect several dimensions?" "Yay! Thank you for accepting my help! Thank you!" "Can you just get on it with it already? You know that I'm not a fan of being thanked for something." "Yes, Master Kaito.." "Good." The two start working together to investigate other dimensions from the laboratory they are in which is located inside of Heartland Tower, the center of Heartland City. It's perfectly calm and normal for awhile. Quiet and comfortable. That was until Yuma flies in from a far distance through projectile motion, crashing straight into the dimensional portal originally built to send Yuma himself to Astral World during the Barian Invasion of Earth. "Owwwwwwwww!" Yuma has a visibly big and red throbbing bump on his head: "Hahaha! Look at you, Yuma! You lost to my sweet Lillybot!" "Can it, will you, Orbital?!" "Do you want to go, Yuma?! You know that I can squish you like a bug if you make me mad, right?!" "Aaaaaaa! I don't want to deal with that again! I'm sorry, I promise I won't interrupt whatever you're doing like this or anger her like that ever again!"

Katori via elevator enters the laboratory: "Hey have any of you seen- ..YUMA! YOU DIMWIT!" Katori slaps Yuma on his right cheek, leaving behind a red hand mark in the process. "Ow! Katori! What was that for?!" "YUMA, HOW COULD YOU HURT LILLY'S FEELINGS LIKE YOU DID AND END UP LOSING TO HER EASILY IN A DUEL!" "I said I was sorry! I didn't mean it! I've just been itching for a duel for so long that I lost my nerve and snapped at her when I didn't really mean it!" "I THOUGHT YOU KNEW BY NOW NOT TO DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT! COME ON, WE'RE GOING TO YOUR HOUSE, AKARI IS WAITING!" She pulls Yuma into the elevator by the ear while glaring at him: "Ow! Ow! Stoooop! I can move on my own! Katori!" "NO!" As soon as Katori finishes pulling Yuma into the elevator with her, the doors of it close. And when they close, something happens that no one would be aware of until those investigating Duel Links returned to the lab later. Energy stored up inside the now destroyed portal leaks out of it. This causes a dimensional rift while the battle over two Danvilles was wrapping up with a portal between them still open. The rift sucks in Kaito and Orbital 7 immediately before either of them could even react. Seconds later, they find themselves somewhere not familiar to them but certainly familiar to some of you readers. *Jingle music* "Doofensmirtz's Good Incorporated." *Jingle end*

"Where in the world are we now?! This isn't Heartland! I don't detect any duel disk signals besides faint ones of ones that were here days ago!" "Orbital, we're in another dimension. Question is: what other dimension are we in now anyway?" Security alarms start blaring and Doofensmirtz's robot Norm appears: "Oh look, the security alarm is going off and we have intruders! Dad, come see!" Doofensmirtz who was in another room does so: "Norm! What did I tell you about dealing with intruders?" "Destroy them with one of your Inators?" "Just how much short term memory loss do you experience? No, you hug them and bring them to me! If they're hostile, we fight them. If they aren't, we offer them some of my cookies!" "But dad! I run on squirrel power and your cookies taste awful! No one has ever enjoyed them!" "Maybe I should find you a new power source. Forget the cookies. Just do it already!" "Sure thing, dad!" Norm tries to hug restrain Kaito and Orbital: "You'll have to do much better than that to catch me." "Don't you dare try that again or else you will face my rage!" "Dad! Little robot scary!" "What are you complaining about, Norm?! He can't hurt you! You're 2 stories tall at least! He's puny!" "WHO YOU CALLING PUNY?! I'LL SHOW YOU PUNY, HUMAN!" Orbital 7 reveals his nasty and dangerous side, growing so tall that he towers over Doofensmirtz and is near eye level to Norm. Both his hands are now red violet drills that are spinning. "I'LL CRUSH YOU FLAT AFTER I DESTROY YOUR ROBOT FRIEND! SAY BYE BYE!" Nearby, an elevator door opens to reveal Vanessa and Candace.
